Elliot did the same thing twice, served his 6 games, and no one gives a shit anymore.

Not saying its okay to hit women, but follow the precedent.

JFC this franchise.

Mahomes is not allowed to leave his house other than for games... bubble wrap him, keep him away from the general public... he is the only hope to defeat the curse.

Buehler445 11-30-2018 08:21 PM

LOL. This franchise. Christ.

If it's possible the Chiefs only saw this today, they're pathetically incompetent. The fact that they immediately move to this outcome is horrifying.

Yeah, no shit the video existed. Once the police have it and won't give it over to the Chiefs or the NFL what are you expecting?

TribalElder 11-30-2018 08:22 PM

Hard to believe this shit

Hunt never even got paid really.

Clark has a championship allergy

Will FAs really want to come here when a team cuts you if you have an issue. Sure it’s about not being honest LMAO

Belichick will give him a second chance during the playoffs

SupDock 11-30-2018 08:24 PM

Someone else will pick him up within a week

Bump 11-30-2018 08:25 PM

What in the ****ing ****.

Clark Hunt giving into libtards on twatter or was Hunt really untruthful and this is the first time the NFL or the Chiefs seen the video?

If the police cleared him it seems ****ing weak to release him. The police said there was no crime committed. Ridiculous.

They gonna wait 9 months to do this? The only thing that can justify this is Hunt really did lie and the NFL nor anybody in the Chiefs org seen the video and they released him for lying like they claim.

FlaChief58 11-30-2018 08:25 PM

Hills issue was before he was ever on the team and he’d reformed. Hunt’s was while he was on the team and he didn’t take responsibility for it, he lied to the team about what happened and caused this blowup to happen later. Plus there’s video. Not hard to figure out.

Kareem Hunt made a series of poor choices, chose not to walk away from the situation, put his hands on a woman, then lied about it instead of taking responsibility. This is 100% his fault. People need to quit acting like Hunt is the victim here.

He was going to be suspended for a long time either way. We’ll be fine.

Red Dawg 11-30-2018 08:25 PM

I told you. Clark is not keeping a player that walked over and kicked a 19 year girl while she is dazed on the floor. In the end he lied to them and Clark is not going to look like a greedy owner who doesn't care about what his female fans think. He's about the NFL brand and his sponsors. Media will praise him and Hunt no way play again this year.

He's a kid. Kids do dumb shit and sometimes are not truthful. This is more about Clark wanting to save face than it is about Kareem Hunt not being completely truthful.

Oh, so why does the hotel not give it over to the Chiefs and the NFL? Why do the police not give it over? You think the Chiefs didn't get the testimony from those interviewed on all sides? Good thing TMZ is a beacon of justice.

gblowfish 11-30-2018 08:27 PM

Well, I guess that skank that got thrown out of the hotel suite ended up ****ing Kareem Hunt after all!

I agree with Twisted Chief. Don't believe for a minute they were all taken aback at the "revelation" that KHunt put his hands on and kicked the drunk skank. I don't care if she called him the N word times infinity. You don't get into that situation. The Chiefs with their secret police had to know about the video. They only pled "Kareem Lied" after it became public and it was clear Kareem was the aggressor. Chunt, Reid and Veatch are all covering their collective asses here. The Chiefs look either A) Incompetent in their vetting of this situation since last February, or B) Only took action on the matter once forced by TMZ and the NFL.

This kind of reminds me about my run in with Haley. Since there was no "photographic or video evidence" they denied the story and Haley was off the hook. Turned out in retrospect he wasn't such a high character individual after all, even though Mark Donovan and Pioli said he was at the time. This time, TMZ had video evidence, so suddenly everyone is scrambling not to take the blame, and they put it all on KHunt. Was he stupid? Absolutely. Should he be suspended? Absolutely. Should he be kicked off the team forever? No, not when you've got Tyreek Hill on the team who probably did much worse. There's just no video evidence of him doing it.

KHunt is an idoit for getting in that situation in the first place. Where's the fall guy in his entourage? Looks like he may have alcohol/anger issues. And if he did lie to Chiefs officials about his involvement, that's all on him.

CHunt, Reid and Veatch could have at least slept on this for 24 hours before kicking KHunt off the team for good. The NFL wasn't going to let him play in another game this year, so it would have been just like the Chargers losing Gordon for the rest of the year. It would have been just like a lost for the season injury. He does community service, he apologizes to anyone and everyone, he comes to Jesus and swears off drinking, whatever; but he's back in the backfield next year. Now, he'll probably end up with the Pats, or Steelers, or Raiders, or Denver, and we'll probably get NO compensation because we outright cut him.

And now a run for the Super Bowl is in question, because there goes your running game in January for the Playoffs.

Another stunning failure.
Another disappointment.
Because Chiefs.

This sends a horrible message, imo. Instead of being supportive and getting a troubled young man some help, they'll just dump your ass if you make them look bad. First Peters and now Hunt. :shake:
