/cough - anyone remember how the original Watchmen started?

Rewatched the pilot, liked it more the second time. Was a little surprised by how much subtle stuff I missed.

And after episode 2, I think I'm pretty much hooked.

Finished the 2nd episode. No idea what I’m watching, but I can’t stop watching.

Yes, it's been very intriguing through two episodes. It seems a large group of Internet trolls don't like the show, though, because they interpret it as too liberal.

I don't get this. well I do in our 2019 political environment. But, still anyone putting their political views into almost every movie seems like a bad idea for them. How are you going to enjoy movies?

Yeah, its well made but since I have no idea who these people are or what is going on, I think I'm going to bow out of this thread and binge watch the show when its over.

Such an odd and ironic occasion to offer this observation.

We'll all collectively start enjoying movies again when movies stop preaching to us about how we should all collectively live our lives. And it's nothing about the political environment in 2019 (I think?) - Watchmen is straight up a SJW wet dream so far (haven't watched the third one yet), but considering the source material, of COURSE it was going to be socially preachy.

I greatly enjoyed the graphic novel, I enjoyed Zach Snyder's movie, and I'll see this thing through to the end as well.

That was the best episode so far. Jean Smart as Laurie is damned near perfect.

This show is getting very good.

I have no clue about any of the characters outside of what we’ve seen on the show. I’ve really enjoyed it so far and look forward to future articles
