Maricopa County; largest growth of any county in the nation, last year second. Yeah, people are hatin' it here.

With all the Zona folks chiming in all BRC style I'm tempted to call it the Florida of the southwest.

Not to get all Jud Crandall on here but something in the ground there is sour. Town has a really ****ed up suicide history, especially amongst younger people.

I always hear how wonderful Arizona is but I don't think I could handle 115 degree dry heat every day of the summer. Yes, I know what a dry heat feels like.

It’s really only July and August that sucks. June is hot, but tolerable. September is hot but who cares? It’s football season! As for May....the high Monday is gonna be 74.

Lots of culture, great food, driving distance from skiing, beach, desert, mountains, forest, etc. SoCal has great weather year round and NorCal is ****ing gorgeous. Earthquakes and fires are an issue and rent/cost of living is kinda bonkers but otherwise it's pretty great.

Is the weather dog shit in the summer? Like does it get scorching hot? I've always preferred a place that actually feels like it's experiencing 4 seasons. I feel like if I lived in a place that was primarily warm year round it would get me missing winter eventually.

July/August = Monsoon Season tho. Favorite part of the year. Though Ahwatukee always gets dicked on that. I’ve been known to drive to a Monsoon.

That shits awesome. I BBQ’d through one once. I simply cranked up the flame. To, like, 11.

Nothing beats a good monsoon. Hey the Dbacks are giving away monsoon snow globes on August 3rd. We should do a meetup.

We get heat waves in LA for sure. Triple digits for a week or so at a time. Low humidity, though. Not terrible. Winters usually bottom out in the high 30s low 40s. That's our rainy season. Seasons for sure but not nearly the extreme you get elsewhere.

Also a pretty quick drive from snow in the winter if you get a hankerin.

Nope, you're right, it's awful. No one else should ever move here.

Horsecrap, Dry heat is so much better than drowning Humid heat. How's the crime rate in your area of Zona though?

It's like a circle jerk of BRCs.

People in KC should stay and enjoy the humidity and 100 degree heat indexes when it's 87 in the summer, and the zero degree wind chills when it's 20 degrees in the winter.... and not seeing the sun peek out of the clouds for days at a time is healthy for you or something. Those 3 weeks of nice weather in October are amazing.

Arizona sucks. Stay out.

Thanks.

Shit, we don't even get that anymore. More like a couple nice days early October and a couple more late, with 3 ****ing weeks of rain in between.
