Minus one that hit between Ozark and Branson during the last round, they've all been along and north of I-44 (I'm south of 44). That highway is just death waiting to happen.

Hope anyone near Jefferson City is safe. Sounds like it was a bad one.

Some picture from my neighborhood. My house is about 500 feet from this main road that the tornado went down.

I know they're still assessing the damage in Jefferson City, but the fact that there aren't any deaths there, let alone widespread loss of life, is incredible.
Large tornadoes going through populated areas at night is about the worst thing. |
Damn. Reminds me of the aftermath from the tornado that pulled my mom's roof off back in '03. Get used to the sound of constantly running chainsaws.
How bad did your place get it now that you can see the carnage? |

The wind pulled my canoe out from tied under my porch and flung it into the yard. Lost my trashcan. Lol. You can track the path of debris from out of the subdivision, across a cow field and then thr couple miles to highway 54 where it turned north to Jeff city. |
Glad you're OK. The power and randomness of tornadoes are incredible.

Glad you survived it with just a glancing blow, as it were. Good luck with the cleanup efforts. |
