groupthink starts out with everyone in the group working together to attack their perceived enemies, but once those enemies are seen as having been discredited the group starts purging itself. Everyone is forced by the group's most extreme personalities (and their toadies) to move to similar beliefs or be the next target. No moderate positions like "KCTV was deceptive, but Hill might still have violated the NFL's personal conduct policy" are going to be tolerated. The group's mindguards see to that. Eventually people are required to conform or be the next target.

I'm sure Whitlock doesn't mind. He understands this and generating attention for having non-conformist views is part of his job. Being outraged at him on social media helps gain more visibility for his brand and his views, so it's self-defeating.

Amazing how swiftly and fluidly you maneuver from a groupthink/purge mindset to criticism of a groupthink/purge mindset.

Casual agreement with Whitlock on one point of a broad issue is groupthink now. Kewl

Whitlock has always felt like the Chiefs did him wrong for whatever reason. He has been a Chief hater for years now. He goes on National TV every week during the season and picks against them and bad-mouths them. He really is a no talent hack that has wormed his way into an easy gig by being a contrarian. Hopefully, the Chiefs will continue to win and make him look like the dumbass he really is for bagging on them.

He knows losing Reek will hurt the Chiefs- that is why he is jumping on the bandwagon with his ignorant, uninformed opinions.

Apparently the fatfro shit that Whitlock is growing on his head is messing with his brain.

One might be able to lay brick with the square on that hairline.
