The Chiefs coaches wouldn't have kept him if Marcus Kemp hadn't blown out his knee.

He's a non-entity.

Idk, Watkins left school early to be a top 5 NFL Draft pick.

Byron Pringle stayed in school, was undrafted, got hurt in the preseason last year, so this is his 2nd year in the NFL, and Watkins' 4th.

Veach is up to something.

Patrick Peterson is going to be a Chief.

Between this and the radio silence after Fescoe asked his source about PP, I believe.

I still think Pringle has upside. Definitely biased, but all the tools are there.

To refresh everyone's memory, in that preseason game vs the Packers last year he had 4 catches for 122 yards and a 47 yard kick return. He had some juice in that game. It's a shame he got hurt.

I understand the training camp hero angle but I think he was better than other guys he's grouped in with. Maybe it's just me.

Definitely understand DAT and Tremon being better special teams players so no problem with the move.

It just shows how different a path can be.

Watkins was born in June of 93, did not redshirt and left school early, he was 20 years old when drafted, he's now 26 and this is his 6th year in the NFL.

Pringle was born November 93 so I guess technically he's younger than Watkins but not by much. Firstly this means as children Watkins started school a year earlier, and Pringle left school as a Junior at age 24 and I know he started his college career at a community college. This means he probably sat years for not qualifying and transferring.

Watkins had the fastest road possible to the NFL and Pringle took a path that is well, ridiculous.

Nevermind on figuring out why he's old for a rookie...

Pringle will be a 25-year-old rookie come November thanks to a college pathway that was clogged by criminal indiscretions. By all accounts, he is a new man, but NFL evaluators will make their own determinations.

Trouble with the law as a youth will be heavily scrutinized by NFL teams
Took circuitous route to Kansas State and will be a 25-year-old rookie come November

Pringle cleared waivers.

Return is possible
