No challenge or team will be easy, but this year’s Kansas City Chiefs with all of its parts, can and will win.

Before a game begins, it is like a great book with its storyline yet to be revealed. The heroics of our team and individual players, is why we watch.

Let the games begin.

Should be a fun ride.

I'll answer after our playoff run, TBD.

But what Reid has accomplished in the playoff during his time in KC with 2 of the top 3 biggest collapses in playoff history. I will always be concerned about his cognitive abilities to complete playoff games.

I’m super excited about the playoffs and this team but will always be some what reserved when it comes to Reid’s abilit to close out games.

What even worse, is he lost both of those games the exact same way. He just flat out hates running the football. I don't care how many running backs were injured against Indy, all we had to do was run a few extra minutes of game time and we win.

Same thing against the Titans. I think we rushed the ball 11 times in that game, not counting Smith scrambles.

There have only ever been 4 instances where a team lost after having at least an 18 point second half lead in the playoffs, IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL, and Reid's Chiefs have 2 of those losses.

Take that fact, add in the 95 & 97 playoff losses, add the no punt game, and add last year, with the neutral zone infraction and Romo calling out the Patriots offensive plays that we couldn't stop, and it all equals why the Chiefs will never get the benefit of the doubt from me, until we win a Lombardi Trophy.

I have been all-in with the Chiefs too many times just to get crushed. I love Mahomes, and can't believe we finally have a real, first round franchise QB, who is the best QB in the league, but even he couldn't overcome "because Chiefs" last year.

The Chiefs have always been, and always will be my team, I just watch every playoff game now waiting for the other shoe to drop.

The ugly losses to IND, TEN, and HOU cost us a first round bye. But they landed us Suggs. Great trade off in my opinion. It worked in our favor; of which never happens.

They are frontrunners.

It’s a fair point. I think many of us are seeing Ravens as almost bulletproof, but they still have to beat a legit team in the divisional round. Watson is capable of taking the Texans on his back and making that game go down to the wire.

You think losing HFA and a first round bye was worth adding a rotational player?

Insanity.

The Marty curse.

Want nothing to do with arrowhead in the playoffs.

Would rather be on the road.

RunKC 12-25-2019 08:41 PM

I want the Titans. I want the Patriots. I want the Ravens.

Think about how good it felt beating the shit out of the Colts last year. It will feel just like that again defeating each of these asshole teams.

I want revenge for 2010, 2017 and 2018.

Iowanian 12-25-2019 08:42 PM

It's always the same ****ing morons.

If I could get into a time machine I'd go back to last night and shit in your stocking if you think the Chiefs are better off losing any game.

Just....just **** you.

May not have been worth it, but gotta play the hand you’re dealt. Do you think a player like Suggs, who hates Tom Brady and the Pats wont be a nice peace to have when we play them again? He’s played against him in high stakes situations before. He’s the only person on this roster with a SB ring. You don’t think that leadership and determination will help out? Would I rather have a bye than Suggs? **** yes I would. But we played that game against Tenn as beat up as we’ve been. We were down to no O line backups. Mahomes was hurt. Shit happens sometimes. This team can overcome that regular season loss, they can overcome playing on the road. If you don’t believe that, then you haven’t been watching the games close enough. This team is peaking, and the defense is playing at a championship level.
