Yeah, it's tough for rookies, especially more complex positions like QB, OL, WR, DB.

Overall that should help us though, as we're returning a lot more than most.

PS isn't very good, much like Carrington Harrison. In fact; Carrington is worse, IMO - yet dude has a 2 hour time slot on Fridays for his show on ESPN radio. God only knows how.

Are we allowed to blame Cam Erving for Rankin’s injury?

Cam got pushed back, which caused Schwartz to get rolled up. Schwartz came out, Rankin moved to RT and got hurt immediately.

Alternatively, Cam Erving saved Schwartz from a season ending injury.

Remmers has a lot of experience, but not at LG. I have a hard time envisioning him being handed the spot already. Time will tell.

That would make sense if Wylie didnt already have serious time in the system imo. The short offseason would hurt a new guy.

Wylie blows, any quality lineman will push him out even without much time in the system.

I'm hoping that Allegretti steps up this year. LDT better get his shit together again this year.

LDT was recovering from his leg being snapped in half. People forget these guys are human beings and serious injuries can have an effect for at least a year.

I expect him to be a solid G again this year now that he’s had time to recover.

Not to be political but he fits what they want exactly to further the agendas they support.

Generally speaking, Pete Sweeney is a sharp dude and rarely shoots off the hip at these things. He is also pretty connected at 1 Arrowhead Drive.

Currently, he sees the competition boiling down to Remmers v. Wylie, with Remmers winning out.

Pretty interesting, if Remmers takes the job, look at these other OL we have that he got the gig over:

Andrew Wylie
Martinas Rankin
Lucas Niang
Nick Allegretti
To say nothing of two outstanding UDFA prospects in Yasir Durant and Darryl Williams, and Ryan Hunter, who has seen (horrific) snaps at guard.

I wonder what he’s seen or heard that lead him to this conclusion.

Daryl Williams is the one to look out for. He’s a stud.

Yea, it will be really nice to have him as his old self this year.
