Yeah, but its his job to know they are a bunch of pussies that can be swayed by the media. You have to work the ADs and the coaches to work their presidents.

The way I understood it, they were supportive but the individual AD's were never consulted. He should have involved actual sports people before he decided to just call the whole thing off.

Kudos to the Huskers for spearheading this thing.

Bobby Carpenter
@Bcarp3
Ball is in the University Presidents court... they have access to the Abbott instant testing.

It's the final hurdle for player safety and initially they will the only conference that has it.

Kevin Warren is working to pull it together... this can happen and he can be the hero

The timing of this is interesting not just the meeting with President Trump, but the court in Lancaster saying hey we want to see the information. I'm not a lawyer I guess them asking for that information would he standard but what happens if they were to rule against the B1G? Hopefully someone like DJ could chime in on this.

Looks like 30-35% of Big 10 athletes that tested positive for COVID 19 also had myocarditis. Yikes.

Multiple sources: No immediate plan for @bigten presidents to meet to consider fall start to season. One source, "Oct 10 ain't happening."

Not sure how to embed tweets on mobile but that report appears to be fake news.

If Penn State’s doctors had legit found myocarditis in 30%+ of their players then the ACC/Big 12/SEC would not be playing college football this fall.

All bullshit like so much else in 2020

Titty Meat 09-09-2020 12:15 AM

Looks like the B1G doesnt have enough votes to start Oct 10th. Most likely will be the end of November.

The reasoning? I dont know.

Nikhil_Jacob 09-09-2020 02:16 AM

Glad to know.

Playing outside in Dec-Jan? This from a league that never even played night games in Nov due to weather concerns....
