Not in a million years.

This season was surreal anyway, with the empty stadiums, etc.

I'm just glad it's over.

Looking forward to spring and summer.

Nah. Felt worse after the Indy debacle. After that game I thought we legitimately wouldn't win one in my lifetime.

Reffing was ridiculous but it's not like there haven't been similar reffing outings. If we'd have just got blown out, whatever, we finally found the breaking point for OL trouble: Both tackles being traffic cones. I ****ing hate bullshit reffing. But again, not new.

Heh. Traffic cones is an apt description. One I was looking forward to.

Thank you

Nope, not at all. I realize that this is just the beginning. We'll be around for quite some time to come, and it's going to be awesome. Burt Vatch has already been working out his plan for the off-season, you count on it.

A semi-regular mlb season would help ease my pain as well.

LOL Here to help.

Seriously though. Those guys were ****ing beat before they got out of their stance. I'm not sure I've seen anything like it.

The offensive skill position players get an emphatic "**** you" as well, especially Watkins and Hardman. Watkins would have been just as impactful sitting on the bench like he has been and Hardman had a dud for the ages. Even Hill and Kelce let Mahomes down at times but they still at least fought back and tried. CEH was the only one who doesn't deserve shit and Reid panicked and abandoned him.

rewatched the first half today... Lot of actual holding and illegal contact on our wideouts that went uncalled, based on what was being called on our Dbacks. This changed the game as well with a porous Oline.

Chris Meck 02-08-2021 09:05 PM

nah.

I was frustrated last night. Today I feel alright. We can fix some things and be right back there next year. It'll be fun to see what Veach does. Two months until the draft!

Yeah, it was too much. I honestly mentioned to my son tonight, I'm not sure they didn't keep Remmers on the right side (where he did ok) and roll protection that way. Don't know if that would have changed anything but we were piecemeal to say the least. I do love the foosball fans who suggest we devote hell a cash and draft picks to the o-line. We had a sb winning last year under contract. 2 were hurt. 1 was a doctor who went to a higher calling. We had good play sporadically but the truth is, the thing that blessed us early last year (multiple injuries, backups getting time and us getting healthy/hot at the end) is the same thing that killed us this year.

we got hurt late, they got healthy late.

staylor, I'm sure once you go to the gym, do some deadlifts, and then beat up some boomers at an environmental rally, you'll be back to your old self talking football in no time.

(Kidding, buddy. This too shall pass and it would be a pity if any of us really grew tired of watching the Jordan equivalent in his prime.)

I'm excited too. If we somehow won last night that may have masked the fact that our OL needs to be a priority or Mahomes is going to get Carson Wentz'd next year and we would struggle. I think we will be in a better position because of the loss. Still sucks though.

-King- 02-08-2021 09:27 PM

Not really. They just beat the shit out of us and the refs got a few licks in for good measure. By the end of the first half my optimism was pretty much gone so by the time the game ended I had pretty much processed the loss. It's not like 2018 where I just felt broken. There we had the victory and had it snatched away from us. At no point yesterday did I think we had the victory or deserved victory.

Sure-Oz 02-08-2021 09:35 PM

No I'm ready for this team to get back. Definitely a great season but awful end. They are better than this but this will set them up for a run next season and beyond. They got socked in the mouth. Can't let they happen again.

Brady threw for 201
PMII threw for 276

If Brady would have played behind that line what do you think would have happened.

Brady would've been carted off

This loss blows goats, but in the last few years I've found the less I pay attention to all the little details the more I enjoy the Chiefs games and team moves. The NFL has ruined my desire to devote a lot of time into following all the details and it has led to me filtering out most of the clutter and settling back into just enjoying the Chiefs again.

The Royals won the World Series, the Chiefs won the Superbowl, and we get to watch a guy who can bounce a football of a facemark while flying horizontally for years to come. Life is still good.

In Veach I trust.
