**** ‘em. It’s not our jobs to fix the ignorant takes. Let them think what they want. We’ll just get healthy, and collect the trophies.

Yea at the end of his career.

Mahomes is 25, it’s not 25+ years ago, and he plays QB not corner.

I can’t believe you idiots think turf toe might ruin Pat’s career.

Actually, I can believe you do, but not the others.

Just shut the **** up. You run around calling everybody an idiot in every thread. You can't just talk about stuff you have to be a jerk about it.

I never said Mahomes career was over. I was just worrying because Turf Toe injuries can be severe and linger such a long time.

Don't be such a dick.

It's really a shame we couldn't see those two go at it in a fair fight.

The whole football world deserved that game.

We did, week 12

Yes hope and pray that Mahomes is forced to play behind his 10th string offensive line with a flaming dumpster fire at right tackle.

It scared the poop out of me when I heard Wylie, who isn't very good at guard, was sliding over to play right tackle. It turned out even worse than I thought it would. I figured Reid would have some kind of plan to cover that up. I was disappointed to see that he didn't.

Jokes aside, Pat is going to get seriously hurt if we don’t protect him properly. That triple hit on him was sickening.

He was bent forwards, backwards and sideways on that one. I thought for a moment he was concussed. He looked shaken up :spock:

I was already corrected on this.

But the point still stands. It's not JUST the protection. Guys still get hurt.

The Packers have built a line in front of Rodgers the whole time he's been there and he's had 2 season-ending injuries in the last 8 years.

Sometimes, it just happens.

Andy's head wasn't in the game.

Any word on how the surgery went?

The knife slipped and his toe came off. Thankfully, they replaced it with a bionic one, which Mahomes is going to shove up every team's ass next season.

I'm waiting for word that Lenny died some time this week. :(

Turf toe in 2021 isn't exactly the same career ender as it was in 1998. Remember when Tommy John surgery was an instant career killer for MLB pitchers 20-30 years ago?

You can only “cover up” so much when it comes to injuries/a complete lack of talent across five spots. There’s just not enough scheming in the world. A more feasible argument is leaving the right side alone, and inserting Rankin or Witzmann in at LT...but that’s never been KC’s strategy along the OL, and probably wouldn’t have mattered with how talented and deep Tampa’s DL was/is.

Was just listening to Tim Gunhard and Frank Boals show a little while ago and Tims sources said that Patrick tore his toe ligament off the bone during the SB..

Holy Shit!! If this is true...This kid is wrecking himself for this team.. We better fix the oline for his sake...
