The only non-shitty offense they played during that 5 game streak were the Chargers, which had close to 400 yards of total offense and scored 24 points against them.

Otherwise they have faced the Jets, Carolina (with Darnold), a decimated Browns offense without Chubb/Hunt, and the walking corpse Atlanta team last night.

Let’s see what the Faketriots look like during the next few weeks against Tennessee and Buffalo.

I remember that game! Remember when Chris Jones was called for a BS Roughing the Passer for daring to strike the shoulder of the GOAT? Pretty sure that kept a drive alive that led to points. Also the refs had zero issues with where Ford lined up, until the game ending INT by Brady. Man, some people just get all the breaks.

They're on the way back for sure. They play a very physical, fundamentally sound brand of football. They can dictate pace and time of possession with their running/short passing game. They don't turn the ball over and sport a top 10 defense. If our offense is healthy, executes at a high level without turning the ball over and runs the ball effectively we win - Provided our defense stops the run.

I wouldn't be concerned about their defense. It is good no doubt as most Belichick defenses are, but Reid abuses those defenses. He has done it with Mahomes and with Smith before Mahomes.

As long as Robert Craft is owner they will find ways to cheat to win just matter of getting caught again.

Dont think the league cares as much about Mac Jones as they do for Brady so I doubt the Patriots will be allowed to have a 2 decade run of cheating.

Come on man, the flag was thrown immediately when the ball was snapped. They didn't wait til the pick to throw the flag. Don't try to remove blame from Dee Ford for that. That man is a gigantic ****ing idiot with 1 move and I'm glad we shit all over him the next year in the SB as he was a no show. Ford had less impact in that SB than Frank Clark did through the first 4 weeks of this season.

I mentioned this in another thread but the Pats with Mac Jones remind me so much of Phil Simms and the Giants of the 90s.

Chargers where Bill exposed Herbert again like they did the year before.

The best win was certainly the Chargers imo but when you look at the list it's filled with a lot of advantages be it injury hit teams or rookie QB's. I have huge respect for their defense though and I think they are more than capable of taking out a high seed like the Ravens, Titans or Bills if they play their best ball.

They have Titans (home), Bills (road), Colts (road) and Bills (home) coming up so that really should reveal a LOT imo.
