He definitely thinks he is smarter than the average bear. I don't particularly care for his demeanor.

He was deceptive about his vaccination status to avoid the blowback. He should have just owned up to it when initially asked.

No. Because I don't want to deal with the paperwork regarding a name change.

Why? It is no one's business except his own and the team.

Paul Zimmerman never voted for Stabler because Stabler slept with his woman. That was crude behavior but it had nothing to do with his play on the field.

Is Rodgers an arrogant jerk? It is very likely. But that shouldn't be why you don't vote for him.

I’d burn a guy to the ground if he ****ed my woman behind my back.

He should have said so then.

When asked if he was vaccinated, he said "Yeah, I was immunized" or something like that. Based on the different ways to interpret that statement, he either outright lied or was purposely deceptive to avoid fallout.

Either way, it was a dumb move.

This dumbshit should have his MVP voting privileges revoked by the NFL.

KChiefs1 01-05-2022 01:31 PM

Rodgers will win back to back MVP’s without Arkush’s vote.

Pro Football Weekly publisher.

I have them from 1966.

This. Don't underestimate how mad people, the media mostly, are over this.

He was owned by Aaron Rodgers, a Packers quarterback, and the top MVP candidate of 2021 season.

Was the question asked in the first place?

There was no reason for it outside of the media trying to be the vaccine police.

We have 24 hour sports coverage. The NFL is the most popular sports league in the country. COVID is highly controversial and has a huge impact on the NFL season.

You'd have to be naïve to believe that journalists have "no reason" to ask.

If you feel it's Rodger's right to keep that info under wraps, then that's one thing. I don't care either way, but again, he should have said so if that's the way he felt instead of being purposely deceptive because he didn't want to deal with the push back.

With how the NFL COVID protocol was to begin the year, it was a pretty big deal if the 2nd best QB in the league wasn't vaccinated and had to miss a game just because of a close contact with an infected player.

That seems pretty news worthy to me and the media had every right to ask it. All he had to do was say no comment, but instead he made up some bogus ass excuse.

Still deserves the MVP though.
