Especially with the league being a predominantly passing league now. |

But that exposed some of our weakness when we flat out cannot cover in man and it could get worse if the league chooses to emphasize defensive holding. So I’m not sure how to feel about our scheme. I do think our late season reinforces the importance of making sure our defense does just enough to suppprt a dominant offense which we absolutely need to get back on track. |

That's not to say he can't teach, just that this clip doesn't show it. I LOVE watching Andy go over technique with guys, especially the O-Linemen. Any ****ing idiot can scream "GO BE GREAT!! PUNCH THE BALL!!!!" but show me a guy that can teach how. Show me someone that can demonstrate that long-arm ninja swipe thing that I've seen some DL do that messes with the timing of those feints from the OL. Show me someone that can see a guys primary move and get working with him on the right secondary and how to execute it. At some point I just get exhausted by the 'BLOOD MAKES THE GRASS GROW, KILL KILL KILL!!!' guys. I want someone that is actually showing these guys how they can be better football players. I hope Cullen is that guy because I'd like to see a ton of young talent added to this DL and I'd like to see them actually develop on his watch. |

In a way when Ingram was in we ran a 3-4. Not in the traditional sense, but he stood up and behind the DL a lot. I think Spags did that to make him more comfortable, and he might be more interested in adapting adding new wrinkles this year.

Okay, so this makes sense then.
House leaves, Daly is the LB backfill, Flajole stays as OLB, and Cullen to DL. |
@barleyhop: Interesting. Daly's not coached LB's before, but they keep some continuity on the staff after House leaves.
Cullen is a helluva hire. Excited to have him in the building. https://twitter.com/Chiefs/status/1489700190823014401 |

I like it. They might be losing both OC’s this offseason. No need to create too much change there.
I like Culley as well. If EB leaves I hope Nagy comes back |
