Got a DUI after several of us sat around slamming beers after a round of golf. So stupid, had a headlight out and even had a beer on the console.

Was in jail about 45 minutes, blew a .199.

That was 29 years ago and haven't driven under the influence since.

It was very expensive, considering the insurance cost increase, 6 months of diversion programs, lost time etc.

I was on RAGBRAI and we were getting pretty wild with the nudity. I came out of a bar with nothing on but my socks and shoes and the Sheriff said "Your Arrested". I yelled back "What's the Charge?"
He didn't think that was funny and cuffed me and took me to the town jail. They gave me an orange jumpsuit and let me spend the night. My friends brought me a cake and visited me and they posted bail so I was out the next day.
I got to keep the orange jumpsuit and I wore it the rest of RAGBRAI.

Been once. Warrant for an unpaid ticket that I swore I paid. Was out in a few hours. I gotta admit it was rather interesting in there. Lotta dudes acting like they were the shit when in reality it was mostly skinny methed out losers in there.

Sort of...I worked in one for a few years along with being a deputy. Fun times.
