Veach clearly has a plan. Wouldnt have let Ward walk at that figure if he didnt. This has Jeff Gladney on the cheap written all over it.

Im fine with the safety group, but the CB's need some upgrades stat.

Sneed and Fenton against those four monsters in LA/DEN is asking for trouble.

Lol wut?

Sneed is legitimately a very good player and Fenton is solid . You just need to replace Ward.

Rain Man 03-14-2022 10:34 PM

This hurts. You can never have too many good cornerbacks.

I guess the positive is that Fenton is starting caliber.

You have to move quickly when you see what our division rivals are doing. Both Denver and LA have much better secondaries than we do as of this moment. And they of course have elite QBs to go along with that.

There was virtually no difference in how Sneed and Fenton played the last two years vs Ward, with the exception that none of them got roasted as bad as Ward did in CIN.

The Chiefs just need to find a pass rush and make sure their nickel cornerback isn't a bag of ass. They might want to replace Brown as 4th CB too since he hasn't proven much. Depth is the big concern now because one injury and you're totally exposed on the outside.

Thats not how Veach works with corners. Tbh I won't care who our corners are if we improve the pass rush

Denver has a “monstrous” WR group? Since when?

Yea I thought that was laughable as well.

Two B/B- CB's with nothing behind them at the moment with a LOT of A WR's in the division.

Early in the process, but a big hole on defense along with the pass rush.

They needed help in the DB before losing Ward.

no way Chiefs are thinking of winning anything this year unless we makes some big moves in the coming weeks..otherwise get ready for a mini 2-3 year rebuild. .

Since they actually have a real QB throwing them the ball now?

You're gonna judge them based on Lock and Teddy throwing the ball?

I love Ward but to be far he wasn't an A corner and we weren't getting Jackson. This is what Veach does with corners for better or worse.

The Franchise 03-14-2022 10:48 PM

Bring in Gladney and draft one. Sucks but we’ve never had a big money CB with Veach/Spags here.

Iconic 03-14-2022 10:50 PM

Sign a depth corner who can spot start and pick the other up in the first 3 rounds. Way more worried about the DL than our secondary with Reid locked in.
