Yeah, this is like cheating on your wife after she stuck with you 5 years while you had cancer or something

He's 29 yo, slow start to his career and doesn't look like anything to brag about. No worries. KnowMo just splooged though all over his keyboard.

He was suspended the first six games of 2020.

I can't believe they dropped that contract on him... sure, the talent and upside is there, but his history is terrible. Hopefully, part of the deal is him paying $1M a year for a babysitter.

Yes, but I bet that contract he gets has more twists and turns to it and details. They will have every angle covered.

Rumor is that the Dallas FO offered a contract that he was willing to sign, and then Jerry Jones' son Stephen tried to switch up some of the details of the contract at the last minute. The Broncos had a similar deal on the table for him but he was going to go with Dallas out of loyalty. The last minute switch pissed him off and he went with Denver instead out of spite.

He said that Dallas got cute with the money that they promised. So he said that's it and signed with Denver.

That bait and switch tactic would piss me off also, don't blame him. Would be interested to know what details were changed.

Dak sucks. They will never win the SB with him.

Mile High Mania 03-15-2022 04:41 PM

Apparently Dallas had language related to fines and suspension tied to guaranteed money and Denver did not. Lovely.

Purest example of a boom or bust signing… 12 starts, missed 3.5 seasons.

Yeah that wouldn’t be an issue to a player unless he was worried that it could be a legitimate problem in the future. Or he just got his feelings hurt and made a snap decision.

There was some language in the Cowboy’s contract that Gregory wasn’t happy with, at least that’s what was discussed on ESPN with Adam Schefter.

No, he really only has the $28 million that is guaranteed. The $70 million really doesn’t mean anything.

There are signs he's gotten his shit together but it certainly is a risk.

Oh really? Like what? Like bailing on a contract with Dallas due to seldom used accountability clauses? THAT should tell you something. Naw, now that he signed with Denver, he MUST have his shit together...

Im going to go out on a limb here and bet it's not going to work out. Let's see if I'm right...
