Bears would rather have a kid like Allegreti.

Yep. This is exactly the problem. You can really notice it when you see him carry the ball and then on the next down, McKinnon or even Williams get a carry. CEH is a pro at running up the back of his offensive lineman.

Williams sucked worse than CEH.

By a LOT.

He’s awful.

He's awful? What games were you watching?

Sweet.

He’s been the best RB we’ve put on the field since…well…Jamaal left?

Great signing….he should be RB1.

Knile Davis at kick returns.

Ealy on protected practice squad (I think he may have a future here but bringing McKinnon back may prove that as false)

How quickly ye forget about our place kicker extraordinaire Kareem Hunt

KC Hawks 06-13-2022 12:17 PM

Darrel averaged 3.9 ypc. He was not good.

That's a stretch considering what Kareem contributed with Mahomes at the helm.

Great news. McKinnon was arguably one of the best RB’s in the NFL during the postseason last year.

The Bengals might give us a 3rd or 4th round pick next year for CEH because he played with Joe Burrow at LSU. I think CEH’s biggest liability is he doesn’t have the size to be a good blocker.

FYP

Was looking forward to this, Yazzir!

Glad we brought him back. Was interested to see how Ealy did, and whether he might sneak onto the roster, but it feels like it'll be Pacheco to have someone who can block now.

I'm making no excuses for CEH but agree entirely with DJ on his usage being perplexing.

His biggest issue is his lack of speed on the 2nd level. The shiftyness is there. He's shown power too.

The problem is that the holes close on HIM moreso than you'd expect from an NFL back. They close on him fast because he doesn't have the speed to take advantage of the holes before they close.

He's missing a gear. It was something that was overlooked in college. I don't think myself (or anyone really) ever realized that his speed would be THAT much of an issue. No one thought he'd be a home run hitter. But no one thought it'd be so much a hinderance that he couldn't at least make the most out of what's there. If he could do that, there'd be no problem.

Like i said, he's missing that final gear.

He's a 3-speed Muncie when the world has moved on to 10-speed Autos.

Do you mean since Kareem Hunt left?
