Some things that Demarcus Robinson did well for the Chiefs.

1. He was a good cheerleader for Tyreek Hill. He was always there for Tyreek during good times and bad. A team needs a guy like that for their star players.

2. He could get in the way on blocks. Not really a good blocker where he would knock anybody on their ass, but he did run interference down field.

3. Every once in a while, he would make a great catch. Just never sure when that was going to be.

4. He never really cost very much in the way of cap space.

5. He stayed healthy. He had a perfect game record in his 6 years with the Chiefs. He never missed a game and had 145 catches, 1,679 yards, and 14 TDs.

If the Chiefs get a WR injury, Chiefs might bring him back, but I would prefer they move on and maybe Miami picks him up to cheer for Tyreek.

I'll neve forget the game he had against the Raiders. He actually ran backwards into the endzone on a 60 yard TD. Showing off his best trait.

This all day. It’s hard to overstate how much this guy wasn’t even at a JAG level.

I’m extremely excited about this new balanced offense.

Is he better than Watson or Fountain? If so then I don't mind if they bring him back tbh. He knows the system and averages around 300 yards and 3 td's a year so .

They run forward and aren’t a fumble waiting to happen because they carry the ball like it’s infected. I will take that over anything Robinson brings to the team.

Anyone who wants Robinson back should be kicked in the nuts repeatedly. Dude almost cost me a TV many times if I had something close to throw at it.

MVS is our new #11, D-Rob is gone...

JohnnyHammersticks 08-16-2022 07:05 PM

Our WR room is light years better than last season. That’s what I couldn’t understand about all the people whining about losing Tyreek. Our WR group is the best it’s been in the Reid era, at least. Maybe longer.

The USFL could use a guy like D-Rob

Rainbarrel 08-16-2022 07:15 PM

Miami sure seems interested in helping the Chiefs win SBs

Running backwards (even on TD’s) did seem to be his strong point.

Might be because McDaniels realizes he was not going to be a good 4-5th option and would rather see what new talent can do/contribute.

Raiders receiving core is pretty decent.

If you play D-Rob backwards on the record player it says "Demarcus is Cut".

The funniest part about that is the ref turned around and ran backwards while he flagged him.

He and Gehrig Dieter can do a podcast together now

InChiefsHeaven 08-16-2022 08:07 PM

Well, at least he got a SB out of his NFL career. But man...getting cut by the Faid after so much hoopla...in pre season...

He wasn't that bad. You can't expect every WR Chiefs hace to be a Pro Bowler.

I thought Reid used him pretty well but time to move on
