Mad respect. Great performance. Goal #1 is keep Mahomes clean, but those guys were the more physical unit and really obliterated bitches in the run game, which has been their weakness all year.
Plus. We never got stuffed on 3rd or 4th and 1. **** yeah. |
that big pachecho run from the pro formation, two wide two back is straight up old school bill walsh. keep playing the hits until it comes back in style. That's a Martyball formation.
|
Part of our gameplan was a tribute to walsh.

Despite how drunk I was, I actually mentioned to my buddy that Wylie was having a particularly good game. The entire line really stepped up tonight. Especially in the second half. I hate to say it, but OBJ as well. Pat didn't have much heavy pressure, and what he did face, he handled very well. They did exactly what they needed to do tonight. I was expecting the Eagles to pressure Mahomes a lot more, and I attribute that to one of the reasons we won...

He's going to get some nice money in free agency because the league is desperate. And good for him. He's been playing for peanuts his entire career. It's time he gets rewarded. |

They played GREAT!!! Loved it.
But I must say the OL's on both sides were aided by the 'water park' field surface. Pass rushers have to explode and dig deep. Hard to do that when you struggle with footing. |
Outstanding effort. Great game by the OL. Studs
|
For the last two weeks, all we heard was that Philadelphia had a clear advantage on the OL. KC’s OL was a complete afterthought, despite leading the league in pass block win rate. By a good margin.

My lone worry in this game was Wylie getting torched by Reddick. I expected alot of chipping to help him even have a remotely respectable game. He simply played the best game of his life and it's not even close. If he could somehow play like that every single week, he'd get $20m per. He played like an All-Pro, no doubt.
We all know the chunks he blew throughout the season. The real question now is, did he finally turn a corner as a RT? Or, is this an outlier and he falls back to his mean? I seem to recall him playing pretty well against Cincinnati as well. |

Nobody's been a bigger Wylie hater than me, and I freely and gladly admit that he played himself a whale of a game.
