I agree, it's where i am now. If some asshole pulls up to my door tryna say some shit i just laugh, shake my head and shoo him away with my hand. A good ol', "Lol get out of here bro..."

I will admit i do have a pet peeve though.

When you're switching lanes, there's plenty of space, throw your blinker on and the mother****er behind you races up to close the gap.

That's not incidental shit, that's purposely being a dick head.

I've read that driving is the worst where you have a mix of people from different origins. They all grew up with different driving cultures and they don't always mix. So places with a lot of international immigrants and a lot of USA relocation tend to have the biggest issues.

Driving in downtown Washington DC is a bit of an adventure for me. I think half the people there grew up in countries without stop lights.

DC is an adventure of it's own. Don't stop or you might see what the other people are carrying gun wise.

Yeah, that can be annoying. My biggest pet peeve up here in Oregon is that people continually go the speed limit in the left lane. Dude, if you want to go the speed limit...stick in the right lane. But now you're blocking the other people who want to get by you.

What is an acceptable cruising speed in the left lane?

I get annoyed with people on a freeway on ramp who don't get up to highway speed before trying to merge.

No one should cruise in the left lane. It's for passing.

You aren't cruising in the left lane, per se. But if there is no one on the road or they're spread out far enough apart....I'll go 80 in the left lane. That's in a 65 MPH zone.

But I also am aware of traffic around me. I'm not going 80 and weaving through traffic. Just like if I'm going 75 and some guy wants to come up behind me...I'll get over.

I assumed it was pretty much common for people to go 5-10 over the speed limit, unless you're in an area where the cops are known for being dicks.

The wonderful people who try to merge onto a freeway going 45 MPH. Love those people.

You've never been pulled over?

Dude....go drive in California for a couple of months. You'll end up dead if you don't keep up with traffic. And traffic goes 75-80 MPH on the freeway.

Been in Oregon for 3 years now and have never been pulled over. But I also don't blow by cop cars going 80 either. See one? Slow down to around 70 MPH and they won't bother you. They're looking for the people who are weaving in and out of cars at a high rate of speed.

When I was 18 roamimg the mean streets in Iowa, I was in my friends car front passenger side. This crazy guy stabbed my buddy through the drivers side window. I had to testify and everything. It was wild. My buddy would garnish his wages from prison when he would fold towels for payment of his medical bills.
