Me and my kids enjoy the win that we saw, and we enjoy the homer that Mike Trout hit. You're easily pursuaded to nonsense if you think that was a "waste of time" because come the fall, when the donkament started, the Angels didn't win the donkament. My kids on that night when I took them to an Angel game to see Mike Trout and Ohtani play? They weren't sweating 5 months in the future about the donkament. That's shit that football fans that have only a passing familiarity with baseball would say. Such as yourself, DJLN. |

Of course they won’t fare well in the tournament. They rarely make it in! |

Did the Cubs "waste" Ernie Banks? You're obsessed with a postseason donkament that doesn't mean anything. |

The Angels are an abomination and sorry ass excuse of a Mickey Mouse franchise. |
That’s like me as a Timberwolves fan saying the postseason doesn’t matter because I was in attendance when Kevin Love went 30-for-30

I promise if you asked all of those players if they’d trade a title for their individual records they would. It’s not a “donkament”. |

What a waste of oxygen. |
It's hilarious that VK denigrates the tournament because "everybody gets in" when the Angels have managed to get in once in 10 years. Lawl.

As a DC guy and Nats fan, I’ll say that Rendon was known here as a pretty cool guy, a calm character, nice guy. To me it looked like he was just swiping at the guy’s cap. I’ll give Rendon the benefit of the doubt.

The Angels have a 0-3 playoff record since Trout staked his claim as one of the greatest players to ever play the game. And now they have Ohtani and the only reason he isn't MVP every year is because the Angels ****ing suck and dont make the playoffs. Imagine thinking those 2 players aren't being wasted on that team.
