seems like an okay signing. Probably Watson replacement but also an upgrade from that.

Maybe. He's probably going to sub in for Skyy. Or compete for his position. Probably a bit of both for the first 8-10 weeks anyway.

Matches his future team mate?

Now now. If we're going to tally up all missing receptions, yardage, and TD's regardless of context, then we're going to add all of it back in signings. Fair is fair.

Since when did you become a cheerleader? And the last RB I advocated for (Fournette) went on to beat us in the SB but carry on :D

Feeling really good if we add Hopkins (if cut) and a solid rookie WR.
Nervous but fine if no Hopkins and am early-round rookie WR.
Uncomfortable if no Hopkins and a mid/late-round rookie WR.

Not sure this pickup has any bearing on whether JWat is re-signed.

5’9” vs 6’2”. Totally different roles.

Guy has been in the league for how long? And hasn't tallied more than 500 yards but once? So mathematically, you'd subtract last season and it looks like his first season by rule. Gives us about 230 yds/season average?

I just skimmed a couple highlights vids; don't see a ton of burst, but some good footwork at the release. We'll see what he does.

Not sure why everyone suddenly wants to toss J Watt.

Let them compete along with any draft picks.

Because they haven't signed JWatt. James is actually on the roster.

Cause he's not very good and has to be resigned.

No way, brother. You added up last seasons' numbers and subtracted everyone that's gone and came up with 2000 needed yards. There was no context, no previous year averages, just a hard number based on 2022.

So we just added 569 and 4 yards back into that 2000, leaving a deficit of 1431 yards.

Also-he did this in our offense, with Kafka, and Daniel Jones for gods' sake.

So might be that this is the veteran familiar with the offense spot rather than Watson.
