Actually the Chiefs own Denver, the Raiders just rented them for today.

We just pimp out the broncos to shady characters who are willing to pay.

Jimmy G's stat line says...

-20/26 (impressive), 200 yards (meh), 2 TD's (good), 1 INT (meh).
-Raiders scored 17 points

-Either Raiders defense came to play or the Broncos offense picked up where it left off last year. Probably both.

-The Broncos needed that game badly. I'd say that loss is worse than the Chiefs for them. We know Andy will get the BS ironed out just like last year. The Broncos don't know that. Plus it's a divisional loss. Ouch.

Honestly both Jimmy and Russ were about equal, just good enough. Broncos lost because of their kicker, and because of that cheap shot to Meyers near the end.

This one time, at band camp, the Raiders beat the Chiefs and they drove their bus around Arrowhead stadium to celebrate. A few weeks later they had a big watch party to watch the Chiefs in the playoffs.....

True story

OP give me your honest take on how the Raiders looked.

The OP is a scorned Carr ball washer so you may not get a balanced take lol.

IMO....Raiders defense still looks sketchy

Jimmy G is not a deep passer threat but throws dimes when needed

Jimmy G can extend plays and make things happen with his legs and pocket awareness and extend drives unlike Carr.

I think the Doncs will be better than last year and get better as the season progresses

Both of their lines looked decent and Sean Payton still seems dialed.

Fortunate as hell to play the crummy Broncos.

Jimmy G was lucky that his end zone INT was negated by two missed kicks by the Broncos.

Funny thread. Well done OP. :)

Didn't watch the whole game, but the Raiders looked like a respectable team to me and the Broncos looked the same as the end of last season.

This I agree with. Their DL looks really average. I know lots of people liked Tyree Wilson as a draft pick but he looked as I saw him - late on the snap every time. He'll probably be a good player for them in the end but he looks every bit the rookie right now.

Donks DL looked solid against them, I think they'll finish above the Raiders when it's all said and done. Raiders offense looks like it'll be decent.

Payton started the game with an onside kick that failed and led to a short TD drive for the Faiders in a 1 point loss. He played a role in the loss too. ;)

The worst offense in 2023 will come down to Denver or Arizona. Arizona tried to have the worst, but dont be surprised if Denver is the worst again this year.

Washington makes Denver's offense look creative and dynamic. They're full-martyball with the worst offensive line in the NFL and the quarterback is a turnover prone fifth round pick. Denver will emerge victorious next week.
