LMAO

Take the “Niagara Falls” speech. In December 2021, locals will recall the news of a woman deliberately driving into the waterway that spills into the falls. She drifted down the Niagara River before her vehicle was lodged against a rock about 50 yards from the brink. McDermott studied up and pieced together a speech. The coach explained how members from the Coast Guard did everything they could to save the woman. He built up the drama. Players held on tight for an inspiring apex, and… nothing. He said the woman died. End of story. The complete absence of a point had some players biting their tongues, trying their hardest not to laugh.

I would not be surprised if this was signed off on by the Bills owner.

Tyler Dunne has done interesting work before but he also did a long piece before explaining how the Bills traded away Mahomes and in it he claimed Pegula wanted Mahomes and Doug Whaley the GM would not let him have him.

Utter horseshit but it looked like spin from Pegula.

None of this surprises me. Add it to the list of reasons why you can not simple compare Y player to X player. You can not say, for instance, that Marino was not as good as Elway because he has less Super Bowl victories. So much of the victory formula relies on the competence of the coaching staff and team around the QB.

It is for this same reason that I reject the argument that Mahomes is a better quarterback than Allen. In my opinion, they are tied for best player in the league.

For every jaw-dropping sentence you read of that article, remember: "Josh Allen has to overcome this ineptitude, and still attempt to win." For 5 years now it has been Josh Allen vs the world. Allen wins in spite of McDermott. Meanwhile, Mahomes has been mentored by one of the greatest offensive minds in NFL history, and a man that had been to half a dozen Championship games and a Super Bowl before Mahomes hit puberty.

Using a family friend as a human shield?

He does love throwing people under the bus.

Yes, you can. No one in the NFL but a reerun thinks Josh Allen is better or on the same level as Patrick Mahomes.

Get lost Diqlix.

It's McDermott's fault that Josh Allen turns the ball over like he's allergic to it?

This year alone, Josh Allen and the offense has left the field with a lead 3 times, and never saw the ball again. With a competent defense, the Bills would be 9-3. That's not Allen's fault. It has been that way Allen's entire career. He takes the lead and McDermott's defense loses the lead. If a QB has a head coach who has consistently lost games for him, he naturally starts to take more risks as he knows his head coach has an under .500 record in one score games. The QB needs to get a big lead to outdo the coaches undoing.
