Time to get our WR in the draft. Jones was priority number 1 and I’m glad this got done. Jones was a man of his word when he said he’d never play for another franchise

I imagine they probably have a Sneed deal they like. Next 48hrs we hear there’s a deal for a 2-ish equivalent. Then onward and upward.

My take: it’s a lot, lot easier to envision this team without Sneed than Jones. Our defense will suffer some but the secondary has talent and some potential depth. We really needed him on the DL.

The thing about Jones is that he never gets injured. Dude is always healthy so surely that played a factor in getting him extended.

The chances for him living up to the 4th and 5th year cost of this contract has got to be really low. But he's probably worth it for the next two. And hopefully not fallen off terribly in the 3rd year.
