Royals don't have power arm in the pen. That's the biggest problem. Got the guys who are contact and let the defense do their thing types. Really need Hernandez to get right

The thing about Hernandez is that outside of his 2022 season he's just been ass. Once he showed that he isn't a SP they moved him to the pen last year and he was pretty much ass there too.
Pitched in 67 games and all but 4 were from the pen. He had a 5.27 ERA 1.329 WHIP. He was able to get some strikeouts and had 9.9/SO9.
I just don't see him doing much of anything.
Walter Pennington needs to be the next guy up. He's dominating AAA. He's pitched 37 innings with a 1.93 ERA, a 0.86 WHIP, only 12 walks, and the most impressive thing about it is he has 60 strikeouts in only 37 innings pitched. He has a fastball that he can get up to 95-96. He's not on the 40 man, but he absolutely should be up in the majors.
