Would the team get penalized for absolutely not trying to, kneeling on every offensive play , getting out of the way on D etc.. 200-0 loss or whatever .

Can we forfeit ?

There are some guys like the Red Rocket and Kingsly who need the snaps. Just in case.

Give Crocodile Blondie some carries. Throw those young guards in there. There's tons of defensive depth that could benefit.

Nah, **** a lot of throwing the game. But we do need to lose so Burro can lunch dicks in Bermuda week 1 of the playoffs...

F that. Rest all the starters and only have some available in case of injury. These guys need to reset their bodies/minds for a 3 game playoff run.

This is why you played Mahomes against the Texans. Now the whole team can rest. Perfect timing for a guy like Chris Jones.

I’ll be the first to admit I wanted Mahomes to sit for the Texans the day he was injured because ot looked real bad, especially those damn high ankle sprains.

Then I saw him practicing and I'm like, "holy shit he is good to go!"

Yeah. It looked bad when it happened but then you watch the post game and hear the comments. It was pretty obvious early on it wasn't serious. People just get really anxious when the best QB ever starts limping.

Rest everyone you can. They last thing we need is some freak injury to Mahomes, or some other key player, that takes away our chances for a Super Bowl. Treat it like a last pre-season game.

Continuity is so important on the OL. Thuney has won the spot, it’s working. I am glad I am not the coach, but that is a huge call.

pugsnotdrugs19 12-27-2024 10:08 AM

Only guys who should play in Denver, IMO:

QB - Wentz
RB - Steele, Perine (for blocking if nothing else so Wentz is protected)
WR - Watson, JuJu, Nikko
TE - Hendershot, Firkser (PS call-up #1)
LT - Humphries
LG - Caliendo
C - Nourzad
RG - Hanson
RT - Wanya
**mix and match OL at different spots, see how Morris and Kingsley do at guard

---

DE - FAU, Herring, Uche
DT - Wharton, Nnadi, Tulipulotu
LB - Cam Jones, Bozeman (PS call-up #2), Chenal (would rather get Christensen in here somehow but seems unlikely)
DB - Taylor, Nazeeh, Chamarri, Roland-Wallace, Hicks

I was hoping to bring up more PS help on D like Steven Nelson, but it's hard when you don't have enough depth at LB to not use a call-up there

kcbubb 12-27-2024 10:21 AM

I’d like to see the oline rest thuney, creed and Taylor and have a starting oline of humphries, caliendo, nourzad, Hanson and Morris. I’ll be watching to see how humphries and Morris play. I also hope to see sumatatiaia sub for humphries some. Good luck, Carson wentz. We need to evaluate the oline for the playoffs.

kcbubb 12-27-2024 10:22 AM

You said it better than I did.

Hopkins may play. Supposedly he has several incentives he has a chance to reach that can earn him up to a million dollars in bonuses.

And if there's one thing we know about Hopkins from most of his career choices, he LOVES making that money.

No, beating Denver with the JV team will be more fun.

I'd bring up Oladokun to play QB for 3 qtrs of the game. You don't really want to have QB2 get injured.

That'd be idiotic. Just give him his money and rest him.

I'm guessing that we hand the ball off 70% of the offensive snaps, maybe more. The only goal we have (other than to stay injury free) is to burn that clock as fast as possible. Given that, I seriously doubt there is much of an injury risk to Wentz
