I’m really tired of Trey Smith tbh. One of the more overrated players we’ve had. He’s struggled in pass protection every year but bc he pancakes players and is Creed’s BFF he’s somehow good.

He’s not worth the enormous contract someone will give him.

Hell, I've soured quite a bit on the Humphrey deal and he's the top C in the league on any given Sunday. Paying Smith should be a non starter after what's happened.

He's responsible for developing talent. Who the **** is he developing? Not a single one of our young players looked like they developed for shit this year. Not one. 2nd and 3rd round picks should at least develop into competent OGs and/or RTs. These guys look lost more than they don't, they take forever to develop into anything usable.

Just go get a good dude from the college ranks. Maybe Phil Trautwein from Penn State, Brian Callahan from Minnesota or Jim Harding from Utah.

Exactly. Wanya Morris was supposed to take the next step up from his rookie year and actually regressed so bad he was listed inactive during the post season and superbowl.

You can kick Wanya inside and have him play RT in a pinch, that’s the natural progression for guys who can’t cut it at tackle.
