KU isn't even close to the 16th-best team in the country. Shitty Colorado running all over them as I type.

To answer the 'if 10 spots is a lot'... it seems to be this year. When a team like Northwestern is ranked, who was 6-6 last year, 5-0 this year, with quality wins versus teams like Ohio and Iowa; 16 isn't that high (not to say Kansas sucks.. they've obviously taken a step back, and everyone knows they weren't on the same level as the top 10 last year, much less this year).

Scoring 7 points in the 1st half is "running all over them"?

Not so fast my friend......wait a minute I wonder if John McCain ripped him off?

Corso is about 106 years old. It took him that long to get that dumb.

Everyone else: Meh, hits the open recievers, the one time he threw into coverage he was intercepted.

McCoy looks a million times better than Bradford so far.

chiefs1111 10-11-2008 12:00 PM

No kickoff return for touchdown that time

chiefs1111 10-11-2008 12:00 PM

McCoy goes down that time

Spott 10-11-2008 12:02 PM

I have a feeling OU is going to blow them out in the second half. UT has kept it close, but OU looks like the better team.

chiefs1111 10-11-2008 12:02 PM

good field position for OU

Ouch. Definitely not the way the Longhorns wanted to start the half.

OU is probably the best team in the country.

Nice screen play

OnTheWarpath15 10-11-2008 12:04 PM

If Texas could defend that jailbreak screen, OU would have no offense.

Mecca 10-11-2008 12:05 PM

Sam Bradford would be perfect if you just ran screen passes all the time.

They look like it. I think the only chance we have of beating them(if we play them) is getting some early turnovers and score every time we get the ball.

There it is again.

Mecca 10-11-2008 12:06 PM

Yep just flip balls into the guys hands and let them make plays....it's working for them but it provides nothing when trying to project to the NFL.

Can you defend a screen pass? That's about half their offense.

OnTheWarpath15 10-11-2008 12:08 PM

If Mizzou's OC is smart, they run that play until Texas shows they can stop it next week.

Mecca 10-11-2008 12:09 PM

Honest question......now are people seeing why a few of us say Sam Bradford doesn't make NFL throws?

Good job "projecting to the NFL" doesn't mean a thing to a guy and a team trying to continue its quest for a national championship. They'll screen all over Texas until the Horns finally man up and stop it.

Frazod 10-11-2008 12:10 PM

Because he doesn't need to.

QBs like Stafford need to because those teams don't have WRs in the same galaxy as Oklahoma.

chiefs1111 10-11-2008 12:10 PM

well actually as bad as OU has been on covering kicks,I guess I can't blame him

Hey that's fine, explain that to people who think he should be the #1 pick.

This what I don't like sometimes. They are out there diagnosing the injury on the field. Get him to the sideline, diagnose him there and play football.

Why bother? Just IGNORE them. Making it your priority to point out the wrong thinking of a few kids on an internet forum is sad. If you're as right as you think you are, just let the NFL Draft make them look stupid in April.

Which Planet are you talking about? Jupiter?

The vast majority of this board is saying QB or bust, and the VERY few that are advocating something else are leaning towards a DE.

You're crazy. As soon as the QB discussion comes up, how many times have you read, "It won't matter until they fix the O-line."

The straw man is popular on ChiefsPlanet.

Everyone would love a QB ... IF one proves worthy. Taking a QB just for the sake of taking one = dumb as ****.

Here's hoping.

Oher's great as long as he grades out as Orlando Pace, no QB proves worthy and/or Albert isn't too special.

Which is true.

But that doesn't equal advocating DRAFTING Michael Oher.

Matter of fact, his name has been rarely mentioned around here the past few months.

It's all been Stafford, Bradford, Crabtree and Johnson.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this, then. 75 percent might be hyperbole, but I'd bet the board would be pretty evenly split between OL and QB. Hell, there are quite a few that still think Croyle might end up being the answer. How? **** if I know.

There's no question we need talent, everywhere. If Albert ends up continuing to play well the rest of the season, though, it might be tough to justify doubling up at LT, since you'd never take a RT that high.
