I think they will... but I've actually been wrong once or twice before.

But but...there's only 158 games left :)

They have to tomorrow night. Better weather might have an impact?

I can't wait for those guys to get called up!

I expect Moustakas in 2 years at least and Hosmer in at least 3.

Yep, we just need Gordon and Billy "Fat Boy" Butler to get going until they come up.

No, no no! We can't have that. This is classic football mentality in a baseball thread. The Royals are 2-2 after 4. Pontoon wasn't great by any stretch.

But he got dicked by Jacobs and Aviles (and Callaspo's FC that he should have gotten the lead runner on). Those were big league plays that should have been made.

I fail to the understand the reason to claim that this was embarrassing.

I still have faith in Gordon, but I don't know about Billy Fatass.

I'd honestly like to know how a guy who looks like that has no power while that anorexic praying mantis dude on the white sox has power.

His batting coach is Chubs Peterson, "It's all in your hips"

It's in the swing, the wrists, plate mechanics.

what about this game was not atrocious?

did the royals even hit a ball out of the infield?

The pitching.

But the offense was abysmal, and the defense had some truly shitty moments.

It has nothing to do with your body fat.

StcChief 04-10-2009 08:56 PM

The freakin' Yankees, gotta generate some interest early in Royals :)

Well Jacobs got his first "hit" when he hit a fly to shallow right and Nady pretty much dropped it. Looked like an error to me but anything to get Jacobs one hit this season.
