yep
Haley the MorAn cut off his nose despite his Face.

This will probably turn out like Chan Gailey. It looks like we screwed the pooch for a few weeks but then reality will set in and we will realize that we didn't really give away much.

Get back to me when Gaileys Bills make the playoffs or at least beat the donks for us this week.

Get back to me when Gaither plays a full season at LT for the Chargers or even learns to play RT.

Agreed somewhat. Though I think Bailey would have been a nice complement to Haley as oc (but can't fault Haley if he wasn't a fan of his offense)

The ravens are pretty darn good at evaluating talent. They cut him. After that, the chiefs signed him for nothing and no other team really tried.

You don't have to trust the chiefs to know what they're doing. The red flag is that the ravens thought he was worthless enough to toss to the side for free.

If we win our next two games, and San Diego wins their next two games, could it be argued that Denver screwed their playoff chances by cutting Orton loose and letting our offense get on track, but we in turn screwed our playoff chances by cutting Gaither loose and letting San Diego's offense get on track?

He raped Ray Lewis.

0 sacks allowed to a red hot Suggs. Yeah, we couldn't have used him at all.

Yup. I'll go ahead and blame Haley for letting Gaither go.

The only way this makes sense is if Albert couldn't move to the right side. We've been hearing all along that Gaither couldn't play on the right.

stonedstooge 12-19-2011 05:30 PM

You think maybe the Chiefs talked to him about playing right tackle when he was signed? If he refused, do you think he would have been signed?

He was signed to be the backup LT.

how dare you!!

It was clearly evil Pioli's master plan to sign Gaithers and then drop him right when Haley needed him.

Poor Todd

O-line looked pretty good against the Pack on Sunday. Amazing how much better even a decent QB made it look. Lock Orton up for next year, move up to get a QB in the 1st, and I JIMP looking at this roster.
