That is evidence.

There was also that great audio after he called the audible that confused half the offensive line (lol) during a Seahawks victory.

Ryan O'Callaghan came up to him on the sideline and asked him "what play did you call?"

Cassel says "it doesn't matter what play I call, you made it work" and pounds the guy in the chest pad.

During the lockout, he assembled 50 some players in a part of the country no NFL players live in, some of them not even under contract, and ran the practice by himself.

He fought for Jackie Battle a year or two ago.

He befriended and supported Kyle Orton for Orton's stay that, in reality, offered a distant threat to Cassel's job.

Boooooy people were pissed. They burned that bitch with fire. Hardcore. And then he left because his vagina got burned. Which... I guess that's what happens when you ****ing set it on fire.

How'd that work out for us?

Oh, yeah.

Cassel wins the special Olympics of quarterbacks and you want us to like him for it.

How would you feel if Tebow was our QB? Because he's the same ****ing pea from the pod that Cassel was created from.

Shrug.

I do what to highlight the other thing in your post, though, because it's an important distinction from what I'm trying to argue:

Because no, no I am not saying that. I've been exasperated as much as anybody else by Cassel's poor play.

I'm just saying let's not play to the lowest common denominator here.

Thanks to Kyle Orton. Cassel was shit in the preseason and pretty much continued that until he was injured and out for the season.

I'm making this one post and then going to bed.

Trent Green once stood up to Paul Tagliabue, who mocked his defense and HIS team, in public. Now Tagliabue was not without reason. That was some stinky stinky reerun diarrhea shit defense, but that didn't matter. Trent defended them anyway, and said, "You know what could have won that game? If the offense had scored more points." He said, "Hey, now... football is a team sport" to defend his own fellow players. That was selfless, noble, and boy did it ever demonstrate REAL leadership.

Cassel uses the same "football is a team sport" excuse/answer. The very same one. The difference there is Cassel uses it to cover HIS OWN ****ING ASS and not the asses of his teammates. He sucks so much shit that when he uses that line he brings his teammates down to his shitty ****ing level. No wonder the media thinks the Chiefs suck so bad. They think the entire team is a bunch of Matt Cassels.

Why should Cassel make such large image-degrading sacrifices in order to keep something as worthless as mere criticism off the backs of his teammates? Why does that shit matter? Because that's what real leaders do. True leaders have done this for their troops/players/employees/cyborgs throughout history. History is rife with noble examples of this sort.

Matt Cassel has never done this in spite of the many MANY opportunities that came his way. He's a cowardly pussy on the field and a cowardly pussy in front of a microphone. But hey, he helps out in the community.

Like I said, if he's so damn good as a charity worker, give him KC Wolf's job. Clearly he's far more successful at that shit than he is at winning playoff games.

Good night. We will continue this conversation another time.

Just kidding.

People don't give a shit about the Chiefs because the Chiefs do not consistently win and they do not compel attention. Matt Cassel contributes to both those factors, I make no excuses for that.

But to use his inability on the field, or his thin skin (which I admit he has) misses the point of why it is I like Cassel. The guy works his ass off for this team. And it really has been that long since we've had a QB that's done that.

The Merril Hoge/Ron Jaworski cluster**** on ESPN after the Winston fiasco just shows how wrapped up the media is in this stupid notion that Cassel is a nice guy. Jaworski said something like, "Matt Cassel is a guy who helped to rebuild an entire city of Chiefs fans in Joplin after those awful tornados, and this is how the fans treat him? This is not the Kansas City I knew when I played there"

If he's so valuable to the people of Joplin, then he should ****ing get a job with Habitat for Humanity. That might actually be something he's GOOD at doing. Instead he's our starting QB.

THAT was 100% sickening to ME as a fan when Jaws said that. Is he actually suggesting that an athlete who likely feels obliged to help people out because the rest of the team is doing it (let's be honest, during the lockout he wasn't exactly doing anything else) is a great guy? He could have gotten vocal and spearheaded the whole rescue Joplin thing, but that wasn't him. That was all Todd Haley. Cassel just followed.

So how do we express our intense disappointment, Jaws? It came down to that. We don't want a ****ing carpenter as our starting QB. We've been saying that for years, and management wasn't ****ing listening. Well, now we forced the issue and look what happened! No more ****ing Cassel. Ain't that grand?

So how do we express our intense disappointment, Jaws? It came down to that. We don't want a ****ing carpenter as our starting QB. We've been saying that for years, and management wasn't ****ing listening. Well, now we forced the issue and look what happened! No more ****ing Cassel. Ain't that grand?

Preach on, brotha!

We shouldn't demean Cassel's efforts to assist the people of Joplin. That was a good thing.

But the fact of the matter is that Cassel's charitable efforts are in no way related to his play on the field. They are two separate things. There is zero correlation between the two. And, if Jaws had his facts correct, he would have known that the cheers were horribly overblown and misrepresented by Winston's moronic grandstanding.

I'm very disappointed in Jaws, to be honest. I thought he was a man of integrity, but it turns out he's just another ratings whore like most of them. Sad.

Cassel is a good guy. He tries hard, he practices hard, he plays hard. He just sucks as a QB but I have never doubted his heart or effort. He never should have been a starting QB and it isn't his fault that he was. I will knock Cassel's talent but I won't knock his effort in trying to become something he isn't and will never be.

NO HE'S ****ING NOT

I've said all along that the guy is a giant dick and a jerk, but nobody believed me. He's got the face of America, and his improbable storybook rise to NFL starting QB could practically be a Disney movie. People want to like him, so they say things like, "I don't think he's a good QB, but he's a selfless team leader who works hard. Perfect teammate. The right kind of guy you want as your starting QB."

A good guy who sucks would say the right things. He'd endear and entrench himself into the hearts of the fans. Think Boomer Grigsby. Fans ****ing loved that guy even though he sucked saggy octogenarian titties. He played into the underdog role like a champ. Cassel waltzed into KC and was like, "Oh, I'm the starting QB? Uh, yeah. That's cuz I'm awesome! Maybe if enough of my greatness rubs off on my teammates, we'll improve and win some games."

If he's so valuable to the people of Joplin, then he should ****ing get a job with Habitat for Humanity. That might actually be something he's GOOD at doing. Instead he's our starting QB.

THAT was 100% sickening to ME as a fan when Jaws said that. I'd buy Cassel a beer. Seems like a good dude. I know a lot of guys like that. None of which I want as a starting QB on any team I care about.

He doesn't come close to blocking like Trent.

I'd buy him a near beer, because they are so similar.

My friend told me Cassel was on a food network show a while back. Never saw it but said he acted like a prick. You never know with guys on camera. They can come off well or poorly. My gut tells me he is a little fake. Reading into his comments most times just makes me feel even more so with him not accepting blame.

What?

After all of the shit you flung anyone and everyone's way for YEARS on end that disagreed with your evaluation of Cassel, that's the end? That's it?

We're still "kin"?

You're ****ing smoking crack.

You have a ****LOAD of ass kissing ahead if you want to be considered a "bro".

I think the only relationship I have on here that's more homoerotic than the one with Pawnmower is the one I have with Simply Red.

Pawn is an awesome bro. Just add love.

Trent was the greatest blocking quarterback of all times.

A Cassel block looks remarkably similar to a frantic ground hog attempting to dig an emergency burrow.

I'd take my beer and pour in on Cassel's head. Then, I would take his beer and drink it right in front of him. Then, I would take his wife's beer and throw it right square on her bosom. Then, I would steal a beer from the guy at the next table and tell him that Cassel forced me to steal his beer and call his girlfriend an ugly, moon-faced, floozy who flaunted her meat curtains in front of the entire team. Then I would order another beer and kick back as the other guy beats the living crap out of Cassel.

Please show me ONE ****ing post where I disagree with an 'evaluation' of Cassel,

THIS is the ****ing problem with you and the ****ing reeruns like you.

You can't ****ing read or understand basic English.

This is your chance, PLEASE quote me on something , ANYTHING where you think I overhype, overestimate, or say anything that is not accurate regarding Cassel.

****ing do this shit.

If you don't, then admit it just simply isn't true.....
