If any silver lining can be taken from Frank Haith, it may be that he ends up being the thermobaric weapon that destroys a run-down city block in a horrible neighborhood. It's beyond infuriating or maddening. If he's out there because we lack depth, that's an indictment on Haith, even if it's not a necessarily strong indictment given that it's his second year. I get that he's a freshman, but his game is reeruned even for his age; if he's a project, he shouldn't be out there. He is so hilariously bad at defensive movement and switching, and he has now completely ruined the last two offensive plays by refusing to appropriately judge how to break the zone, instead opting for a quick ill-advised three.

Part of that is on suitcase Mike. Otto Porter should be holding down one of those spots. Some is on Dixon for being a sexual psychopath, and the rest is on Haith for recruiting Vakidis from Semi-Pro.

When your leader is standing on the gallows, your allegiance is to yourself. No reason to run the coaches offense or work hard on defense, especially for the seniors and Pressey who will be gone. The season looked promising at the beginning but I expect a tailspin for the rest. They have the talent to win against the bad teams, but I don't see enough wins at this point to get into the tournament.

This team proves the depth of Phil Jackson's genius. His ability to motivate players and seek out self-motivated players that got the most out of others through force of personality and will outweighs anything that any coach could do from an Xs and Os standpoint.

Just an extremely overrated and overhyped team with what seems to be a lot of talent, but unbelievably poor coaching. It seems as though our players play with absolutely no effort/passion/heart compared to last year. It might be the fact that all these transfers and upperclassmen got their eyes set on the NBA(which sadly looks unrealistic atm) and revert to selfishness. coaching still should be able to calm that and atleast allow them to play like a team... I kind of feel sorry for these transfers as that has ultimately probably knocked there hopes out of the NBA.... Kieon plays like shit and oriakhi(a guy who most likely will play pf in the nba) has failed to prove he can play without bowers...

It's not like the core group of this team has never played together before this season... Kieon, earnest, bowers, flip, jabari were all enrolled last spring semester...

I think he's savvy with his explosiveness. His decision making is on par for a guy as green has he is, but I think he'll really excel from the shot fake once his reputation from the 3-line is established

I really like Haith's enthusiasm. While behavior is by no means indicative of coaching potential, I think it has an important place when you're dealing with kids of that age. Just wish it would show up every game, regardless of the score or opponent

And, I want to get this out there before the lollipop guild comes along: The oddsmakers in vegas put Mizzou at -13.5. Those guys are INCREDIBLE at what they do, and they expect that Missouri will win by 13-14 points as a BASELINE. They know Bowers is out, they know about the allegations against Haith, they know that Martin's a very good coach with poor talent. And yet they STILL think we win by 13-14. When Pit beat KC 10-6 last year, do you think their fans though it was "a good win"? There are things to be concerned about, regardless of the outcome.
