Frenchy just needs more at bats to find his comfort zone. /huuuurrrrrrr

alnorth 04-21-2013 01:26 PM

Frenchy just needs one more for the golden sombrero.

TLO 04-21-2013 01:26 PM

Keep dealing Santana!

Strongside 04-21-2013 01:26 PM

French has been decent with RISP so far. That doesn't change the fact that he swings at shit pitches and takes strikes...and generally has no approach at the plate at all. If you want to strike out Jeff Francouer, just throw balls.

Discuss Thrower 04-21-2013 01:28 PM

Where'd that miss?

RedDread 04-21-2013 01:29 PM

If Frenchy doesn't get a hit or walk in his last AB, I'd prefer to sit him over Moose, put Dyson in left and bat Moose 7th.

stonedstooge 04-21-2013 01:29 PM

HE MISSED FIRST

RedDread 04-21-2013 01:29 PM

He can't flat run though.

Canofbier 04-21-2013 01:29 PM

Nice throw, Frenchy...

lewdog 04-21-2013 01:29 PM

I know there is concern over our cold bats, but would someone with more insight than me please explain if anyone is worth calling up from AAA? From what I can see, doesn't look like a call-up is an option.

stonedstooge 04-21-2013 01:30 PM

Billy Butler thinks Papi's fast

MeatRock 04-21-2013 01:31 PM

To be fair, Dempster was allowed to paint the outside corner on Frenchy, so i expected the strikeout.

RedDread 04-21-2013 01:31 PM

Frenchy could have got behind that ball.

Pilsner 04-21-2013 01:31 PM

Papi is going to stroke out.

I don't know about calling anybody up, but I like the idea of playing Cain in RF and Dyson in CF every so often. It gets Frenchy out of the lineup, and it gets Dyson on the bases more often (where he is very dangerous).

I'll lay money he thought Ortiz would not tag

RedDread 04-21-2013 01:32 PM

This will probably be Santana's last hitter.

RedDread 04-21-2013 01:33 PM

BOOOOOOOOOO,

shut the hell up Boston fans.

TLO 04-21-2013 01:33 PM

If Dyson was playing every day I have a feeling people around here would be pissed.

Last year Dyson scored 60%+ of the time when he got on base

Coach 04-21-2013 01:33 PM

Sit your ****ing ass down.

RedDread 04-21-2013 01:33 PM

Santana has exceeded my expectations this year. He is a true #2.

Not as extremely pissed as I am towards Frenchy.

MeatRock 04-21-2013 01:34 PM

Santana Dealin. This rotation has been awesome this year so far. I never expected Santana to pitch so well early.

I don't root for injuries but I'd like to see Frenchy get on the 15 day DL and just see how Dyson does being an everyday player for a couple weeks.

Strongside 04-21-2013 01:34 PM

Santana is consistently impressive after the first inning.

Personally I like Dyson and think he gets a bum wrap to a degree. He usually works counts and scores a lot if he gets on.

alnorth 04-21-2013 01:35 PM

Send him back out for the 7th. He probably won't be in KC next year.

alnorth 04-21-2013 01:35 PM

7th inning

Top 7th

Getz grounds out to first
Gordon strikes out (swinging)
Escobar pops out to second

0 runs, 0 hits

Bottom 7th

Strongside 04-21-2013 01:36 PM

I want more Hochevar.

TLO 04-21-2013 01:36 PM

Do we know yet whether or not the game is on TV tonight?

Shogun 04-21-2013 01:37 PM

COME ON AND GETZ SOME!

MeatRock 04-21-2013 01:37 PM

We need more runs before we get to the bullpen.

RedDread 04-21-2013 01:37 PM

It is, FSKC tweeted that it will be televised.

Bring him up! He'd fit right in

RedDread 04-21-2013 01:39 PM

Wow, bad day for Gordo.

Coach 04-21-2013 01:39 PM

Damn Gordon, don't go all Frenchy on us now....

Sure-Oz 04-21-2013 01:39 PM

Gordon stop learning how to take pitches? a few walks so far is concerning

RedDread 04-21-2013 01:40 PM

Royals take lead, bats go silent.

Strongside 04-21-2013 01:40 PM

Almost time for Herrera to give up his obligatory lead-losing homerun. Aaaaany moment now.

TLO 04-21-2013 01:40 PM

Go get em Santana.

Sure-Oz 04-21-2013 01:40 PM

Santana coming out again? surprised with 95 pitches

Sure-Oz 04-21-2013 01:41 PM

Hoping Ned doesnt drive Santana and Shields to the ground pitching them over 100 every damn game

Santana wont be here next year. Wring every last ounce of baseball he's got this season.

Strongside 04-21-2013 01:43 PM

Really hoping we take both games today and Det and Minny both lose. That would put us 1.5 games up I think.

Don't know if Santana will even be here next year so use him if you have to. Maybe a bit more careful with Shields but I am ok with their use so far.

Strongside 04-21-2013 01:45 PM

One thing is for sure. Santana's fishbone pimp-chain is glistening in the New England sun.

Strongside 04-21-2013 01:46 PM

Time for some sweet Chen music!

lewdog 04-21-2013 01:46 PM

Chenimal in the pen.

TLO 04-21-2013 01:46 PM

Chen warming up in the.pen

arrowheadnation 04-21-2013 01:46 PM

Shogun 04-21-2013 01:47 PM

im OK with chen coming in actually.

Strongside 04-21-2013 01:47 PM

I think we need to call our bullpen the bullchen.

arrowheadnation 04-21-2013 01:48 PM

Damn....Santana still filthy this late.

Strongside 04-21-2013 01:48 PM

Man, I ****ing love Erv right now. Dude is pitching like a true number 2. And honestly, he's giving Shields a run for his money so far IMO.

Sure-Oz 04-21-2013 01:48 PM

Good point...Santana is dealing so far and will get paid if he has a bounce back year.

Raiderhater 04-21-2013 01:49 PM

Great job Santana.

Now pull him.

Toadkiller 04-21-2013 01:49 PM

Santana is a pleasant surprise. Or maybe not a surprise, but at least not a bitter disappointment.

Dartgod 04-21-2013 01:49 PM

Need moar runs.

lewdog 04-21-2013 01:49 PM

Chenimal to face to top of the lineup. Slightly scary.

Let's go Billy.

Sure-Oz 04-21-2013 01:51 PM

Santana is a huge surprise so far. Everyone wanted Haren including myself instead. So far Haren is dogshit

Strongside 04-21-2013 01:51 PM
