I haven't paid any attention at all to Hamels this year. I was only going by what he's done in the past. The point to my statement was that the Royals have only been able to hit bad pitching, and I mean REALLY bad pitching. Whether Hamels has actually been good or not, I could care less about.

How frustrating this team is to watch at the plate. None of the hitters can take advantage of a pitchers mistakes. The only batters being remotely selective with their approach are Gordon, Cain and Butler. The lineup has ridiculous potential and just so massively fails to achieve it. It is difficult to understand.

You won't believe this but the Royals are 2nd in batting average and 15th (last) in walks. And 12th in runs scored. Amazing stat. I can't believe that, it doesn't make sense!
