Big Poppa Payne 04-23-2014 08:03 PM

I bet that pitcher gets a lot of butt with that handlebar mustache.

chiefsfan987 04-23-2014 08:04 PM

Come on Royals, shock us all and put a crooked number on the board.

LoneWolf 04-23-2014 08:04 PM

Is this pitcher's nickname Amber Alert?

0-10 when scoring 3 runs or less ****

chiefsfan987 04-23-2014 08:13 PM

We have a losing record against every team in the division except for Chicago. Very early in the season, but so far, we don't matchup well against these teams. Unless our offense can get to middle of the pack it might be tough sledding.

ChiTown 04-23-2014 08:14 PM

The good news is that Moose seems to have found some power. The bad news is that our 3 and 4 hitters have not. Although homerless, Hos is swinging the bat well. Butler.......................****ing sucks. 2 extra basehits so far. That's beyond awful for a guy that has to do NOTHING other than hit.

Seriously these pussies want to know how to score runs, the easiest way is lift weights and hit home runs like other mlb teams do. I'm sick of seeing royals players with pipe cleaners for arms hitting ground outs for 9 innings.

It's called strategy. If our players get too yoked then their bunting takes a nose dive and then all hell breaks loose.

0 tool player.

Sure-Oz 04-23-2014 08:34 PM

Nelson Cruz might've been worth signing 2 hr 5 rbi tonight

Nzoner 04-23-2014 08:38 PM

As much as I dislike Keitzman I heard him say today to not be fooled by last night, these guys will beat up on bad pitchers most of the time but other than that they're just not that good.

I didn't listen to the rest but I have to admit when a guy seems to hit the nail on the head.

Yeah it's early and the Tigers are helping KC but man if that yearly losing streak rears its ugly head... :(

Nah. He is a rally killer with those hr's.

Hey at least we beat the tigers for ya again.

Hmmmm. So they beat up on bad pitchers but don't put up many crooked numbers against good pitchers? He's a god damn genius LMAO

It's early. They just need to hang around until they get rolling on offense and they will get rolling.

obviously

tk13 04-23-2014 08:46 PM

Yeah the way this team normally does it... we just need to hang in there and not having the usual season killing streak in April or May. If they can do that they'll be in the mix.

Mother****erJones 04-23-2014 08:58 PM

Another fun fact for ya. Abreu hit his 2nd HR to deep CF in comerica park in consecutive days. Tigers announcers said Jose is the first guy they can remember doing that. He's something else. Also the first HR I've seen Jackson give up on in CF

I've been following KC sports for so long that I never get shocked anymore,I'm numb to the dumb.

Mother****erJones 04-23-2014 09:16 PM

I mean if you tried for Beltran why not Cruz?

Yep. Follow the Chiefs and Royals long enough and you just accept the oncoming failure.

Pablo 04-23-2014 09:45 PM

Chen for the win tomorrow! Over .500 we go.

kcjayhawks5 04-23-2014 09:47 PM

I honestly don't believe that's going to happen this year. I think they will hang around .500 most of the season, maybe a little over.

Then fall just short with around 85-88 wins. Same as last year ultimately.

Fairplay 04-23-2014 10:18 PM

The hate Ned Yost thread will be on page one throughout the season rest assured.

Deberg_1990 04-23-2014 10:23 PM

Well, at least Moose is starting to find his power stroke.

Although, is he destined to be an Adam Dunn type? 30-40 HRs with .220 BA?

Way too early to think that. And Dunn is a career .270 hitter before he got to Chicago.

Dunn has also had 100+ walks 8 times in his career and Moustakas has never had more than 40.
