Alex played well, but he doesn't win shootouts.

He's good at winning 17-13 type games where the defense does the heavy lifting.

Like against NO in the playoffs.

The offense averaged 24 points last year. That's not wining 17-13.

In fact there were only 4 games out of 17 we scored less than 23 last year and we went 2-2 in those games.

He shouldn't have to. With the money invested into the defense, the chiefs should be like the Seahawks. Unfortunately they weren't.
