I'm not sold that she is the person in the picture, but it appears that the person on her right is Rick. That would be interesting. I think Shane is on the other end.
I was thinking Rick would be reluctant to take on trained officers even if he knows his people are being held - but if he has background knowledge on the bad cops, then the dynamic is changed. |

It doesn't look like her, but did they have enough foresight to cast that part that far ahead?

Good episode.
Not great, but good. |

I don't read the comics, but I think Carol and Daryl see what that hospital group is doing, spot our favorite little farmer's daughter, and set it up so Carol gets captured so she can get inside.
|
The guy that plays the character "Eugene" is absolutely hilarious on Talking Dead. ROFL

The white sheet person is a nobody.
They bury their own, not burn them. |

Yeah, Eugene got ****ed up.
I thought the Big Red Machine was going to kill himself when his only reason to live turned out to be a lie. |

I was actually surprised they went ahead and busted Eugene’s secret. I kind of assumed they would get closer to DC before that happened but the whole sabotaging the vehicles was a nice twist that wasn't in the comics.

I knew Eugene was full of shit. "It's classified". Really? REALLY!!! Are you worried the Chinese are going to steal the cure to the zombie apocolypse and save the world? Why wouldn't you be Xeroxing the cure and sending it up in helium balloons for the world to see. Hate this thread and my lack of willpower. |

Why did Big Red kill all those other people with the tin can? Were they humans or zombies?
I took it as he killed the other survivors so his family would have more supplies. That freaked his family out and they ran off and got killed. Yeah? |

These were neighbors and friends from 'before.' He went out on a mission for the group, and came back to find these friends had raped his family. Killed them in rage, family freaked out and ran off, then he found them killed right before meeting Kentucky Waterfall. |

She watches reality TV and I watch quality TV. :hmmm: |
Other than the nose dive van that miraculously landed upright on all fours like a cat, I liked the episode.
On a side note, I was pretty sure Carol was faking it to infiltrate the hospital so I almost jumped out of my seat when out of nowhere she got blasted by the car. |

Not sure if ^that needed spoiler tagged but just to be safe. |
I thought 'ol Carol and Darryl were finally getting around to doing the horizontal hokey pokey in the bunk beds. Hope the last 2 episodes come through, it's getting kinda lame.

I grow tired of these episodes where they fill in flashbacks just to get to the current timeline. I see the point of establishing Beth's location and how Carol got in there, but it sucks that it has to eat up two weeks worth of show to do that. |

Just like every season, these are character building episodes.
I'm good with them. These eps will make it more powerful when one or more of these characters die. |
Carol is my favorite character so I hope they don't kill her off. Melissa Mcbride is a fantastic actress and is always fun to watch. They can kill off Beth and I wouldn't care. She's just not a very good actress.

And Darryl is a fan favorite. They kill Darryl, they'll kill the show. |

I absolutely care about the characters. When Herschel died last season - even though I knew it was coming - I was upset. I was especially upset watching Rick have to put down Sophia at the end of season 2 - I didn't feel for Sophia, but was upset by Rick having to do it. I was upset by Merle's death, and even Andrea (even though i was glad she was gone). I was upset for Carol when she had to put down Lizzie. All because I care about the characters. |
Dunno, I find a lot of the characters generic. Lizzie was by far the most interesting, but they ended up snuffing her before she could really have some fun. Spending hour long episodes with 2 or 3 characters really drags for me.
But as I said before, what TWD has become is a shell of the potential it had during the pilot. I probably judge it harsher becasue of that. |

I kind of like the city survival scenes. Building hopping, scavenging, etc.

Me too. A nice respite from the woods. |

I also don't give two shits about any of the characters. Any one of them could die next week and I wouldn't care.

I haven't had time to read the last few issues, (left off where Carl was on his way to be a blacksmith with Negan in the slammer) but you've got a great way of bringing a different aspect to the show and I always look forward to your comments here. I have really started to like Tyreese the most. He's going to be Ricks moral compass pretty soon I think. I Also hope Carol takes Andrea's spot as the badass sniper, (sans being Ricks new wife). I see the show starting to steer more and more towards the comics now. Eventually it will surpass the comics storyline and I wonder what they'll do then, you know? Will the comic adopt the shows story or will they go completely different ways? I, for one hope for the latter. |
The Urban survival stuff on this show is so bad ass. Watching Carol set up shop in that building was awesome. I wonder if the Hospital battle is going to be as lopsided as the church battle was.
