journeyscarab 10-12-2015 12:25 PM

Come on boys, where you're heart??

KChiefs1 10-12-2015 12:25 PM

I would say six or another run.

For now. No reason to pull. Runner gets on, though, bullpen starts working. Two runners with no outs...thinking about match-ups.

One batter too many.

carcosa 10-12-2015 12:27 PM

Nice quick out. Hopefully not the start of another 25+ pitch inning.

DeezNutz 10-12-2015 12:27 PM

Ventura's stuff is really, really good today. Really ****ing good.

DeezNutz 10-12-2015 12:28 PM

****ing Hosmer. Wow.

carcosa 10-12-2015 12:28 PM

Hosmer dragged that foot like a wide receiver. Nice.

Get the **** outta here! Go lube yourself up for tonight's Arrieta raping

Just talking baseball, sweetie.

I'm not sure why you're so wound up, I've been damn impressed by Ventura today and have given him credit for same. I'm still scratching my head over that pitch he threw to Springer. That thing was unreal.

KCUnited 10-12-2015 12:28 PM

Lol Gomez.

suzzer99 10-12-2015 12:29 PM

You sure Gomez wasn't sacrificing with no one on Mr. High Paid Color Guy?

Don't like the feel of this game.. Astros playing with all kinds of energy, Royals look like they could give two shits..much like they finished the season.

Exactly what I said and I got roasted. I'm glad to see that others are noticing this finally.

Yo is the only one playing like he's in an elimination game.

Maybe inside their heads they think that the game is over?

DeezNutz 10-12-2015 12:30 PM

Fuuuck. Two-out walks score.

ChiTown 10-12-2015 12:31 PM

Atta boy, Ace

DeezNutz 10-12-2015 12:31 PM

Yeah, he's getting insane movement on his fastball.

He's done a damn nice job not letting the park get to him. He's just going out there and attacking these guys. With the stuff he has today, it's absolutely the way to go about it.

The difference in the two pitchers right now is that McCullers brought his curve with him to the park but couldn't spot his fastball. He's since located his fastball command. Ventura brought his fastball but it looks like he's breaker's still a little off. If he can just find a way to start getting that curve over a little more often, he'll be unhittable.

At 68 pitches, he still has enough time to find it and get through a couple more pretty easily.

siberian khatru 10-12-2015 12:31 PM

Some Royals runs, please

Rasputin 10-12-2015 12:32 PM

I thought the game was later today. We got to win this.

Old Dog 10-12-2015 12:33 PM

Let's score a couple of ****ing runs now...........oh wait Gordon, Rios, and Escobar are up..maybe in the 6th?

kcjayhawks5 10-12-2015 12:33 PM

kcjayhawks5 10-12-2015 12:33 PM

If Rios somehow gets on base, they better send in Dyson to pinch run.

suzzer99 10-12-2015 12:36 PM

How about not swing at the first pitch here Rios?

carcosa 10-12-2015 12:36 PM

Good AB Gordo. If you can't hit, get a walk.

Old Dog 10-12-2015 12:36 PM

Attaboy Alex

siberian khatru 10-12-2015 12:36 PM

suzzer99 10-12-2015 12:37 PM

We really should just try to work walks.

Why Not? 10-12-2015 12:37 PM

Rooting for a K here. No DP

Dartgod 10-12-2015 12:38 PM

Rios has seen six pitches and struck out twice. Out-****ing-standing.

Kidd Lex 10-12-2015 12:39 PM

I hate Rios with the rage of 1000 suns

ChiTown 10-12-2015 12:39 PM

Rios shouldn't see another AB in this series.

Fansy the Famous Bard 10-12-2015 12:39 PM

Alex Rios is an $11 million piece of shit.

siberian khatru 10-12-2015 12:39 PM

Dyson has to go in for him, try to salvage what's left of the game.

One of those 7 third strikes or whatever was a strike.

jimidollar 10-12-2015 12:40 PM

I'll be sad when the Royals season ends. I won't be sad to see Rios go. I hope someone in the division signs him.

ChiTown 10-12-2015 12:40 PM

Esky playing like a flaming POS as well.

Zobrist with a weak grounder to first.

I was almost prophetic. It was second base instead of first.

carcosa 10-12-2015 12:44 PM

mr. tegu 10-12-2015 12:44 PM

KCCHIEFS27 10-12-2015 12:45 PM

I realize I'm just a guy laying on my couch watching this game, but is it hard to sit on his breaking pitch after getting 2 strikes? Every damn time he gets two strikes on a guy he throws the breaking pitch...over and over.

Old Dog 10-12-2015 12:45 PM

Two, but you get the idea
