They seem to think the Royals steal signs so they can hit all our pitches.
Mets fans might need to ask how come our terribly bad pitchers have been making their offense look extremely lame. Coming into the series that's all the media talked about it is the Mets daunting starters. Interesting how the Mets strength looks average at best looking at the stats. Mets better swing like the Royals and hit that ball if they want a chance to pick up some games. |
Lots of excuses coming out of New York these days . . . . . .
Mets are finished. You know what will be fun? All of New York and Mets fans watching as we celebrate on their home field and then leaving our piss and alcohol stains all over their visitors locker rooms for their stadium crew to clean up. And then, come April, we get to have some more fun as Mets vs KC on opening day in KC on ESPN, and Mets players and fans get to watch us get our rings, the World Series Champion flag raised and continual highlight re-runs of last years epic beating in the WS, followed by another beating on the field for our opening victory of the 2016 baseball season. You really can't script this shit any better than that! |

I absolutely nailed that post.
There were some real gems in that thread, though. One idiot said that the Royals aren't a great team and that, if we have a great record, it's proof that there is a serious talent problem in baseball. All the team has done is have the best record in the AL and roll through teams with Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Dallas Keuchel, Jose Bautista, Josh Donaldson, Edwin Encarnacion, Troy Tulowitzki, David Price, deGrom, Matt Harvey, Familia, etc. All that, and we've done it without using our secret weapon...Christian Colon. Serious lack of talent... |

Why are Mets fans talking about Cabrera and Cain?

Seems obvious he meant too old to stay in the minors, but you aren't very bright.

Have they watched this team? "Beatable" is exactly the LAST word you would use to describe them. You have to play a perfect game because you can't give them a single inch. |

It's 100% obvious what Saul was saying. You just go ahead and read/interpret it how you want. |

Funny we had a 29 years gap between playoff and they act like it the end of the world. Cry me a ****ing river.

I'm talking, still have his Tennessee game jersey fans. That was HILARIOUS. Made the pain of being a Chiefs fan a tad more bearable for a night. |

I really don't get why people are saying the Mets fans are nice.
Some of those guys are posting like they've never seen a ****ing baseball game in their lives. Did they not watch any of the Giants' championships from 2010-2014? They play the exact same way we do. There's more than one way to skin a cat in the postseason, but there IS a particular style of play that will generally lead to greater postseason success than others. We've got it. The Mets with their shitty ass ****ing defense do not have it. |

Funny how none of them say a thing after getting their asses whipped. And BTW, Mets fans, if you're reading this, ASSGAARD isn't special. Maybe a 9-7 record with an ERA of 3.47 is special to you morons but he's not Tom Glavine or Roger Clemons. And I hope the "Dark Knight" has the Batmobile driven up his ass. |
The funny thing is half of our game threads are complaining about the FOX announcers. Then you look at the Blue Jays and Mets forums and it's even worse. They're going nuts over how much Buck and Reynolds are homering it up for the Royals. It's always funny to me how that works.

I read the Blue Jays meltdown after game 2 and several times there were posts that were just "Royals baseball".... so yeah, other fans get tired of hearing about how the Royals are such a great contact hitting team, never strike out, are so relentless, etc.
|
Quote:
I've told several of my Mets friends about the Royals and their answer is always "They haven't faced OUR pitchers". When did a guy that goes 9-7 with a 3.47 ERA become Sandy Koufax? |
Great threads going over there

The Orioles said, "The Royals have a great bullpen, but it's no match for our hitters. They can't compete with us in any way at all." Same shit with the Blue Jays. It's hilarious to see that the Blue Jays fans actually believed dynamically changing the makeup of the best players on your team at the trade deadline meant you were "destined" for a World Series. It's hilarious to watch them stew and pout like we ate all their ****ing Halloween candy. And the Mets fans are doing the same ****ing shit. Man, I look back fondly on the days when the Astros fans humbly acknowledged that the series could go either way, and if the Astros didn't pull it off, it's because they weren't the best team in that series. These assholes are simply ****ing incapable of acknowledging that there MIGHT be a better baseball team out there than their piece of shit no-defense ****faced team of shitasses. |
I love the Jay's forum thread. They're talking about how boring Royals baseball is, because real baseball is hitting homeruns. A bunch of base hits and great running to score is boring to them. ROFL

Like, was there a single person on this board that said, "The Colts weren't better than us!" after we got fist****ed in 2013?

The other thing that pisses me off about the Mets "fans" is that the Royals are "lucky" when they win. You know, because the Mets and their limp dick offense and defense are so scary that their urine cures cancer.
I've been a fan of the Royals since inception and I can't recall ever blaming a Royals loss on anyone other than a Royals player, coach or manager. I've been openly critical of Ned on Facebook and Twitter and have openly stated that I didn't like the Cueto trade. At the end of the day, losses fall squarely on the shoulders of the Royals. Not the umps, not the the other team's "luck" and not the media. When the Royals lose, it's pretty easy to figure out why. |

They're team is like a ****ing machine. Unreal. Even a 10 run lead doesn't feel safe. I hate them. **** KC and their shitty inbred hillbilly fans. Now we have to see that ****face Moustakas and his **** buddy Hosmer celebrate. This is my favorite opponent fan post of all time |
