I restarted and went back to the lake as soon as chapter 2 started...still not seeing the arabian there l...damnit

Man, i spent 15 minutes chasing a wild horse (because i'm ****ing terrible at it). I finally got it tamed, threw my saddle on it, and not but 5 minutes later i get into a head on, horse on horse collision. The other dude gets up and in an attempt to shoot ME, shoots my ****ing horse.

I was so heated....

Good god this game is so ****ing big

yeah. I had gotten out of that habit since RDR.
I used to manually save like crazy.

I need to get back into that routine;

I was only putting in a small amount here and there. And the fellow campers started to only say negative things.

Then I figured out you have to run the ledger, buy things for camp improvements, helps you too, refill your food, ammo and meds, and eventually fast travel. But more than that, play dominos, poker and do chores like chop firewood and carry water to the wash basins, and you improve your relationships at camp.

I’ll also through this out. Even after making all the improvements (fast travel is badass) you can ruin your camp mates love for you if your dumb like me. I Got drunk on the beer (after a cook wagon upgrade) and was antagonizing everyone. A couple to the guys surrounded me and pushed my lights out. I woke up outside of camp. So now I’m trying to get a few perfect skins for camp upgrades like a ****ing table cover and skull decorations. Lol

This game is just too clumsy right now. Ride through town a bit too fast and you may end up in a giant kerfuffle with a $250+ bounty on your head.

so am I reading things right; you're able to replenish ammo etc, at camp?

is it just better to donate more food etc to the camp than selling it?
each time I donate money, I'm not exactly sure how much to donate.

Here's something that bugs me...

When the law comes after me in the middle of nowhere, I shoot 'em all dead, and nobody is around to see it. Seconds later, more lawmen come. I shoot them dead too. It's eventually just too many. These guys don't have radios back to the sheriff's office. How are they doing this? Why does my bounty go up if I kill them with no witnesses??

There are 3 things you can stock up on at camp; food, medicine, and ammo. You can upgrade the quality of each "stock" 3 times in the ledger, with the cost to replenish getting higher and higher. I think at the highest level you can get stuff that isn't available outside of crafting, like incendiary rounds.

Any one on xbox that has found the f-ing arabian? I've wasted nearly an entire day trying different things to find it... I'm tempeted to have a brawl with the thing if I ever find it.

For those that did find it, did you literally just go up the road on the west side of the lake and there it was 1st try? I've camped/slept/left and returned/and reloaded a ton of times and no luck

Just started chapter 3 it’s really opening up now. Sooooo many things to do. I couldn’t walk across camp without getting five more side missions for fellow campers

My favorite was when I get a bounty for looting the O'Driscoll house in chapter 2 cause a law man showed up it's like uh wtf man.

I tried to rob everyone on a train far from towns, and like someone else said the law comes pretty fast and heavy. And even with the mask, they ID you. But it’s good for smaller stuff. I rang up a 500 bounty It was right after I paid the bounty in strawberry for busting out Micah. We shot up the whole town and the bond was only like 150.

Have you gotten the Legendary Buck Trinket? Makes it way easier to get perfect pelts.

There's a place on the far west portion of the map called Big Valley. Set your waypoint slightly under the B and it should trigger the hunt for the Buck, assuming you've got that stuff unlocked. After you've skinned it go to the fence and craft the trinket.

To this point i think it's just best to have balance between honorable and say more dis honest ways of making a living.


Either way though you try it's best to kill than be killed that's my motto.

Killing legendary animals is worse than watching Alex Smith checkdown on 3rd and 10. The tracking system is aids.

Really? Once I got the hang of it had no problems at all.

Just make sure the animal actually spawned in. You'll have a notification that says either hunt the animal or the area is too busy. If you're not getting a notification at all you're in the wrong area.

It has to be one of the best moments in gaming history imo.

The ride from the U.S to Mexico in RDR is also one of my favorite gaming moments. It was just a freaking horse ride, but the scenery, the moment, the pale moonlight, the song....it all felt so epic.
