But Robinson cut his teeth in Bob Kraft's Patriots organization. And everyone knows that you perform...or else. The Patriots have no problem trading or cutting someone they think is deadweight, even in the middle of the season. Early on this year, he traded a promising but underperforming 2nd year wide receiver Doriel Green-Beckham. What we got was Dennis Kelly, a backup linesman. At the time, a lot of people around here said "HUH???". But DGB wasn't coming along as he had hoped. He seems to have gotten some religion at Philly since now he sees that organizations will deal him or cut him if he doesn't improve. And Dennis Kelly has been one of those important tools we've needed again and again. When our starting LT Taylor Lewan got an unsportsmanlike ejection in the first quarter earlier this year, Kelly played the rest of the game and didn't miss a beat. The other message to Lewan was "be smarter on the field or this guy plays" (Coach Mularkey actually said that in a press conference). Lewan had been a lot gotten smarter since then. Right before our bye week two weeks ago, Parrish Cox, our #2 starting corner was cut after having a disastrous game against Chicago where if their receivers had been any better not dropping multiple passes, we'd have lost that game. We knew that Cox was having a bad year. He'd had some bright spots but overall it wasn't pretty. When Robinson, Mularkey and LeBeau cut him, there was a lot of talk around Nashville about the wisdom of it versus just benching him, especially if someone got hurt down the stretch. The backup corners had been playing poorly too, in some cases by talent, poor technique or inexperience. But they all got religion against Denver and played out of their minds. So now we face KC who arguably has better passing threats but now the remaining corners believe a little more that they can hold their own. We'll see what happens in the cold of Arrowhead. |
Cannotn't WAIt 4 the GAME!!!! chiefs will win

Stupid reason #2: Losing to Houston on the road in a winnable game with no J.J. Watt. In the team's defense, that earlier loss was during the first four games when we went 1-3 and didn't really have our act together as a team. |

This has got to be one of the coldest games ever at arrowhead, correct?
I'm seeing 9 as a high. |

Wait a minute. Matt Cassel is on the Titans' team?
Well, why are we worried? Even if he doesn't play, their team is doomed just from the ineptness radiation. He's like Matt Chernobyl. |

There is a video and gif of him picking his nose and eating it on the sideline while at LSU. I would post but I am on probation here or something and cannot post links. |
I think Mariota take will rush a lot on 3rd down converting and keeping defense on the field all game.
This game will be a lot like the Tampa game imo...expts Tennessee is a better team. |
How long does one have to post before getting certain privileges?
I have some good links to share... |

There is also a video of Matt Cassel trying, AND FAILING, to put a hat on his own head. |

Latest forecast is 7 degrees at the start of the game, high of 13 at the end. Not windy however.

The titans, as much as any team in the league, win or lose in the trenches.
If we even just hold our own on the Oline and Dline, we win the game. Mariota running is a real concern for us because, outside of Houston, our LB's just aren't very good. Even Dee ford is surprisingly slow, has great quickness but is slow beyond that. How many QB's have outrun Ford this year? Yuck. |
The Titans are a bad matchup for the Chiefs. Unlike the Raiders, if the run game is working, they'll keep running it. They have enough speed and talent on the outside to make some plays here and there. Mariota's running ability is a cause for concern too, especially with DJ out.
This is going to be a challenging game. |
Just yanked this off of Rotoworld.
Tennessee has allowed opposing quarterbacks to throw for 300+ yards in six of their last eight games. The Titans currently own the NFL's second-worst pass defense, coughing up 275 passing yards per game, and have been shredded by the likes of Trevor Siemian and Matt Barkley in recent weeks. The Titans D/ST has scored just 2.7 fantasy points per game in their last three road contests and will be a mid-range fantasy option at Arrowhead Stadium against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15. |
