Oh gotcha. I’m not sure. We land at about 10. I’m gonna grab a car and hightail it to my buddies house. We’ll Uber from there. I’ll check in here or on the tailgate thread when we get close.

1. I am looking for two LL tickets.

2. For those who use Tickets for Less, once you make a purchase, how soon do you actually get your ticket? I'm looking at the page and it says:

Mobile Ticket - Get it by 1/19/2020

Even though it's electronic, why the delay?

Took about 15 minutes when I purchased tickets last night. I think the issue is that they're technically a reseller marketplace, so it depends a bit on the true seller.

Hmm... so might be a safer route to do it soon, instead of waiting like 3 hours before kickoff?

Just wanting to get individuals experience as to how long it may take for me to get a ticket, should I decide to buy it from Tickets for Less, since I never used it.

Plus I guess, with all the prices going around, I just wasn't sure how reliable the sellers are, in terms of the tickets being legit, and not counterfeit.

The only way tickets work these days is through Ticketmaster (the Chiefs app), so counterfeits are almost nonexistent.

I figured that was the case in terms of counterfeits is almost nonexistent, through electronically....

Just wasn't sure if others had any experience with the sellers being a dick and delaying the transfer of tickets in a poor manner or something.

Thanks.

FWIW, last year for the AFCCG, prices hit their lowest point Friday or early Saturday, and then started creeping back up until they hit $300 for upper level again on Sunday.

If this year follows the same pattern, it's probably a good time to buy from Tickets for Less this afternoon.

Buddy of mine is St. Louis just texted that he and his wife can’t make it. I told him I’d try to help get rid of them.

Sec 304 Row 29 seats 3 and 4. Asking $250 each.

Seats in the same section/row are going for $220, but then there’s $64 in fees each. So I guess it’s a decent deal. Let me know if you’re interested.

A buddy bought two of my section 313, Row 2 seats and then his buddy just backed out on him. So he has a single extra seat. Can be transferred electronically or you can meet us to tailgate and enter the stadium with us. He's actively trying to sell it as well.

What is face on those?

OnTheWarpath15 01-24-2022 03:47 PM

Word of advice, guys.

Check Ticketmaster multiple times daily. Turn off the resale slider so you only see availability directly from the Chiefs.

They release tickets all the time, usually super low numbers early in the week and more later in the week that were returned by the visiting team.

Be prepared though, a friend showed me the face value pricing structure and it's steep.

I think my wife said they were like $400?? Looks like they're selling for about $800 on TM. Figured I'd offer them for less than that to make sure a Chiefs fan goes if possible.

I'm calling it now...

There won't be any upper level seats - but will be some in club and in the 123-124 sections, as well as between the 30's on the visitors side.

Gonna run between $400-$800 per.

I see your point. However, wasn't there only one home preseason game this year? You already got a break there. But, I mean they're your tickets and you have every right to get as much as you can from them, so by all means. Ask what you want. Just keep in mind, that it is an unwritten rule around here that members don't ask more than face on this board, so expect a lot of blowback for asking over 50% more than face value.

Gotcha. Yeah but I have twelve tickets and took a loss on most or all. Gave most away. I've sold a lot of tickets at face value to people here when I could have gotten more. I'm also offering these for less here than I could get elsewhere. I wasn't aware of the unwritten rule and would be more than happy to delete my post if you guys would like me too. Doesn't really matter to me either way. Definitely don't want anyone to feel like they're getting screwed.

When tickets are going for 100% markup + fees elsewhere and you're offering them for 50% markup with no fees, I hardly see that as something we should frown upon. Just my opinion.

I'm not sure that's true about an unwritten rule. I just thought $250 profit on a $400 ticket was a little steep. But they're his tickets, he can do what he wants.

I'll wait a few days for the market prices to come down.

Oh, I agree completely. And I said as much. He can ask as much as he wants, and I hope that he didn't think that I was giving him blowback. If so, I wholeheartedly apologize. That was never my intention. I've bought tickets from him before and hopefully will do so in the future. He's a good guy.

It used to be more common before Ticketmaster took over and fixed online fraud issues. These days there's a clear and visible place to get a feel for market prices, so it makes sense that the measuring stick for a decent price is based more on market price than face value.

Oh, yes. I guess those that I saw are pink dots. Didn't realize that you could look up resale tix on Chiefs website. Didn't even notice it redirected to Ticketmaster.

DaFace 01-26-2022 10:43 AM

For what it's worth, they appear to have removed the direct from Chiefs option as a filter, so I think that probably suggests those are gone at this point.

I'd warn of people waiting for too good of a deal though - I think a LOT of these TM Exchange seats are people that will just go to the game if they don't get an outrageous price for the seats.

I almost got shutout of the Patriots AFCCG by waiting too long - was bailed out by the Chiefs releasing a few pairs and me being in the right place/right time.

For what it's worth, they appear to have removed the direct from Chiefs option as a filter, so I think that probably suggests those are gone at this point.

For now - I fully expect them to randomly release a VERY limited amount between now and Saturday.

Oh, no doubt. I bought my tickets for the Titans AFCCG on Friday evening. I wasn't going to wait any longer than that. I absolutely wouldn't go longer than Saturday morning.

Possibly. Just seems odd that the option is GONE at this point. Every time I've checked prior to this it's been there - there just weren't any tickets shown when you use it.

I'm holding out until Friday I think but man the prices are 2x what the 2018 AFCCG game were going for.

The face value pricing structure I was shown is bananas.

Like the cheapest lower level seats in the end zone was $400+

I'll see if I can get a copy of it to help people determine what a "good" deal is.

It's crazy but this team has been to 4 straight AFC Championship game, 2 SBs, and won one of those. We're are the hot girl right now and prices reflect that.

My wife is going with her friend, who has seats in 119, row 23. These are the same seats we sat in for the Steelers game. She said face value was $325. I'm sure that's before TM's ridiculous fees.
