Took about 15 minutes when I purchased tickets last night. I think the issue is that they're technically a reseller marketplace, so it depends a bit on the true seller.

Just wanting to get individuals experience as to how long it may take for me to get a ticket, should I decide to buy it from Tickets for Less, since I never used it.

Plus I guess, with all the prices going around, I just wasn't sure how reliable the sellers are, in terms of the tickets being legit, and not counterfeit.

The only way tickets work these days is through Ticketmaster (the Chiefs app), so counterfeits are almost nonexistent.

I figured that was the case in terms of counterfeits is almost nonexistent, through electronically....

Just wasn't sure if others had any experience with the sellers being a dick and delaying the transfer of tickets in a poor manner or something.

FWIW, last year for the AFCCG, prices hit their lowest point Friday or early Saturday, and then started creeping back up until they hit $300 for upper level again on Sunday.

If this year follows the same pattern, it's probably a good time to buy from Tickets for Less this afternoon.

Word of advice, guys.

Check Ticketmaster multiple times daily. Turn off the resale slider so you only see availability directly from the Chiefs.

They release tickets all the time, usually super low numbers early in the week and more later in the week that were returned by the visiting team.

Be prepared though, a friend showed me the face value pricing structure and it's steep.

I think my wife said they were like $400?? Looks like they're selling for about $800 on TM. Figured I'd offer them for less than that to make sure a Chiefs fan goes if possible.

I see your point. However, wasn't there only one home preseason game this year? You already got a break there. But, I mean they're your tickets and you have every right to get as much as you can from them, so by all means. Ask what you want. Just keep in mind, that it is an unwritten rule around here that members don't ask more than face on this board, so expect a lot of blowback for asking over 50% more than face value.

I'm also offering these for less here than I could get elsewhere. I wasn't aware of the unwritten rule and would be more than happy to delete my post if you guys would like me too. Doesn't really matter to me either way. Definitely don't want anyone to feel like they're getting screwed.

When tickets are going for 100% markup + fees elsewhere and you're offering them for 50% markup with no fees, I hardly see that as something we should frown upon. Just my opinion.

I bought from IA_Chiefs_fan for the Titans championship game two years ago. His prices are fair and he even let us crash his tail gate. Great tickets and we had the most amazing day.

I need to save money and sit higher up this year, but his are a good deal.

It used to be more common before Ticketmaster took over and fixed online fraud issues. These days there's a clear and visible place to get a feel for market prices, so it makes sense that the measuring stick for a decent price is based more on market price than face value.

I saw plenty of seats this morning in my section 303 around me (row 32). Practically the entire row behind me is for sale on the Chiefs website. Starting at $578.

Yeah, those are Ticketmaster Exchange seats, the prices I mentioned in the post you quoted was what I expect when/if the Chiefs release some seats.

Oh, yes. I guess those that I saw are pink dots. Didn't realize that you could look up resale tix on Chiefs website. Didn't even notice it redirected to Ticketmaster.

For what it's worth, they appear to have removed the direct from Chiefs option as a filter, so I think that probably suggests those are gone at this point.

I'd warn of people waiting for too good of a deal though - I think a LOT of these TM Exchange seats are people that will just go to the game if they don't get an outrageous price for the seats.

I almost got shutout of the Patriots AFCCG by waiting too long - was bailed out by the Chiefs releasing a few pairs and me being in the right place/right time.

For now - I fully expect them to randomly release a VERY limited amount between now and Saturday.

It's crazy but this team has been to 4 straight AFC Championship game, 2 SBs, and won one of those. We're are the hot girl right now and prices reflect that.

My wife is going with her friend, who has seats in 119, row 23. These are the same seats we sat in for the Steelers game. She said face value was $325. I'm sure that's before TM's ridiculous fees.
