With the 91st pick, the Browns select Tay Gowan, CB, UCF

I had a pick but Hoover beat me so I’ll let him have it.

Billay sent me his picks
The Green Bay Packers select Ben Cleveland, G, Georgia |
Sfeihc sent me his as well.
The Buffalo Bills select Nico Collins, WR, Michigan |

And the Chiefs 3rd round pick is finally ****ing here!
The Kansas City Chiefs select Dyami Brown, WR, North Carolina |

Samuel Cosmi
Quinn Meinerz Dyami Brown So how are we feeling about the Chiefs picks so far? I couldn’t be happier. I was debating between an edge rusher (who I’ll name after they’re picked) and Brown there, but after adding Jarran Reed to the DL and missing out on all the free agent WR’s, I had to do with the wideout. |
Quote:
I would prefer a play maker in round one, a LB, CB, WR, something like that, but our offensive line issues just don't warrant that. I'd feel pretty decent going into the season with these guys. |
Cosmi worries me, I don't know individually but that Texas oline got destroyed by OU.
|
4th round will be up this evening guys.
|
I wish that either Jamin Davis or Kelvin Joseph had fallen to 63 because I would have taken them there. I’m good with the three rounds you have so far though.

I really like Dyami Brown as a fit for the Chiefs. Meinerz gives you immediate depth and a cheap long-term solution at C. Cosmi is your long-term LT. I dig it. |
Quote:
The problem is going to be his rookie year. He's 6'7" and his weight is not well distributed. He's going to be an automatic loss against bullrushes all season. Give him an offseason in an NFL conditioning program, however, and he's going to be a lot harder to move. I really like him, but he's not as NFL ready as Mayfield or Jenkins or Vera-Tucker or Eichenberg, and Jenkins/AVT are right tackles, and Mayfield may be a guard. |
Quote:
I've already said my piece on Dyami Brown. Just not a fan. I think he will play in the NFL but just be a JAG. At that point (didn't look who actually was mock drafted in a while) I probably go Terry or Darden if WR is the play. |
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Hamsah Nasirildeen, S, Florida State
|
The New England Patriots select Tyler Shelvin, DT, LSU.
New England gets another big fat guy to allow them to move to a 2-4-5 defense. Two fat guys. Pass-Rushers and coverage plus more coverage. This could be interesting! |
Quote:
I honestly preferred Tylan Wallace, but Brown was my next best available WR and was pretty close to the pass rusher I had in mind (along with a TE). |
Quote:
Yeah, like Wallace too. If he's healthy he's got talent. I like the idea of Terry round 3 or 4 as a cheap Sammy replacement. Just run him down the field and let him punish people if they overplay Hill or Kelce. |
Quote:
|
Honestly, I’m probably thinking about calling around for a trade up to get that pass rusher or TE right now if I’m Veach and the draft falls this way.

Quote:
But I’m also of the mindset that I’m drafting Bateman or Marshall if I have the chance and trading up for a LT. |
Quote:
Marshall..there's something off with him. He's got an awkwardness or clumsiness to him..again, either way won't be available late 3rd round. If I am drafting a guy then I need to know that they do something well. Terry is something I can envision working because he will draw attention. Just appears more threatening to me than finding this year's Bryan Edwards or Van Jefferson. |
Quote:
This is a full round behind where he should have been taken. Maybe the biggest value in the draft so far. |

Round 4 is up!
|
The Los Angeles Chargers select D'Ante Smith, OL, Eastern Carolina.
Yeah, he could play T, but the versatility and upside is much higher here. Smith will get a shot at pairing with Darrisaw as a bookend, with the fallback option of placing him inside and getting a high-quality, athletic G. |
Quote:
I love Smith. |

The player I was thinking of is still on the board: again I'm not his biggest fan and think he will drop, but many evaluators have him ranked as high as an early second round pick on their top 100 lists. |

The New Orleans Saints select Rodarius Williams, CB, Ok State
|
The Dallas Cowboys select Walker Little, OT, Stanford
|
The Tennessee Titans select Brady Christensen, OT, BYU
|
The Detroit Lions select Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, USC
|
The 49ers select Marquez Stevenson, WR, Houston
Can someone PM who ever is next? |

The stage rumbles. Seats shake in the arena. People look questioningly at each other, wondering if an earthquake is starting.

To the surprise of all, a large number of hippos dance onto the stage. As classical music plays, they dance a graceful ballet.

The announcer speaks. "To announce the next pick of the Los Angeles Rams, we present the most famous person ever born in the Los Angeles area. Ladies and gentlemen, Mickey Mouse!"

"Ladies and gentlemen," he says in full Fantasia wardrobe. "If you want to win, you have to wish upon a star. The bigger the star, the better. So the Rams will select the biggest star out there."
"The Los Angeles Rams select Khyiris Tonga, DT, BYU." "With his help, we will sweep the division next year." On cue, the dancing broom appears. https://imgs.classicfm.com/images/25...cvw4xWcgq4hlU= |

The New Orleans Saints select Payton Turner, EDGE, Houston |
And to kick off the 4th round....
The Jacksonville Jaguars select James Hudson, OT , Cincinnati |
Sfeihc sent me his pick like a good boy too
The New York Jets select Robert Rochell, CB, Central Arkansas |
Hey guys I’m so sorry for being MIA last two days. I apologize but I’ve been dealing with a lot of financial stuff and trying to get paid so I can pay bills this month. Everybody struggling with something at this point we just got to stay together and be strong. I’m paying attention again and I will be be ready the rest of the draft. Thank you very much for Staylor26 running this this year and keeping the train on the tracks. Once again guys I apologize

People doing that has really sped the process up. |
The Atlanta Falcons select Ar'Darius Washington, S, TCU
Small but can play all over the secondary, is hyper instinctual and nothing gets completed into his coverage. Only given up 167 yards in the last 2 seasons combined. Size is his only issue. I’d love for the Chiefs to draft him. |

The Houston Texans select Deonte Brown, OG, Alabama.
|
Quote:
I think he's Kurt Coleman. |
Cleveland Browns select, Jordan Smith, DE, UAB

I think the penalty for Chiefscafan not making the second of his back-to-back picks should be that Jordan Smith goes back on the board and is protected until, let's say, pick #115...
|
I know it hasn’t been 12 hours, but this is just silly at this point. I’m not going to let chiefscafan singlehandedly slow us down two days in a row. Not like this when he made a pick and didn’t even check to see that he’s got another pick right after.
Guys, I can’t say it enough. Don’t just make a pick. Check and see when your next pick is and if it’s close and you’re busy, send me a list. It’s really simple. Somebody go ahead and pick for the Bengals. |
I’ll pick for him in like 2 minutes.
|
Quote:
And to chiefscafan, it’s all good, don’t think anybody is mad at you. We’re still in good shape. Just please don’t do this shit again lol. |
The Cincinnati Bengals select Daelin Hayes, DE, Notre Dame
|
Someone want to PM the next guy?
|
Quote:
|
Seriously. Three offensive linemen for the Bengals was ****ing overkill.

Always interrupting valheim give me a sec
|
The Detroit Lions select Tommy Togiai, DT, Ohio State
|
With the 113th pick, the Carolina Panthers select Hunter Long, TE, Boston College
The Panther's brass is excited by all the reachers leaving such a talent on the board. |
The Broncos sprint to the podium and get BPA on their board. Last year at this exact time, this prospect was a second-round value but didn't declare. COVID then happened and he opted out. He's a perfect guy for their defense.
The Denver Broncos select Jaylen Twyman, DT, Pittsburgh. |
Kellerfox sent me his pick.
The Dallas Cowboys select Rashad Weaver, EDGE, Pittsburgh |
The New York Giants select Tommy Tremble, TE, Notre Dame
|
The 49ers Select, Sadarius Hutcherson, OG, South Carolina
|
The Los Angeles Chargers select Marlon Tuipulotu, DT, USC.
With the Chiefs beefing up their interior line and run blocking in a clear counter-move to teams that have defended them with a light box, we need to counter-counter-punch. Adding a disruptive DT allows us to play Jerry Tillery outside and go more run-heavy up front (While still playing a dime or big nickel package behind it). |
