...why? Didn't Andy tell him to knock this shit off. |

I can’t stop laughing. Is he bragging about locking down Hurst? The same Hurst who left early with an injury?

He needs to be benched for this shit. Seriously

I seriously hope Andy benches him for a game for this.

After Andy publicly told him to knock this shit off? Thats not cool at all. :banghead: |
I'll admit to being out of the loop last week and only catching bits and pieces of this but is he insinuating that he did his job and other guys didn't?
|
He done went full Antonio Brown post Burfict hit
Perine trucked his ass multiple times on Sunday. |
Oh man, he's still running his mouth?
What's the cap hit if we drop this loser next year? |

Just bench him. This guy isn't anywhere near good enough to be talking this much shit, particularly after the coach told him not to.
|
This whole thing is just odd. He seems like a quiet, levelheaded dude. What's the point of continuing to push on this, ESPECIALLY after Andy told him to knock it off. Not to mention that we just got our asses kicked...

So I guess he's saying that he was right by locking down Higgins for 3/35 but we still lost, which I guess can be taken a variety of ways. What a weird and dumb series of comments from him. |
He's not played well across the season, neither has Thornhill. He really hasn't been playing at a level to be talking.

Andy talks for 20 minutes twice a week to the press and says nothing. Telling him to knock it off publicly was not just a message to him but to the team |

I would bench him honestly, teach him a lesson.

You go from 2 years with all press availability from the podium to credentialed reporters with phone cameras itching to get something that gets attention. That tweet was nothing. Bengals have new game to get ready for. Looking ahead, Last MNF game is week 17 Bills at Bengals. Should be significant for playoff seeding. Raiders have won 3 in a row and have got rid of guys since they played at KC. Raiders could make a run for playoffs. Week 18 at Vegas may not be easy, but Chiefs should be big favorites in other games, especially if Kenneth Walker III is still injured when Seahawks come to town. |

He should just stay away from reporters when they are allowed into locker room. There are going to be more gotchas from the local beat reporters now that they get to taste jockstraps in the locker room like the good old days.. |
To teach him a lesson, they should bench him
|
I believe Little Mr Reid is soon going to feel the full force of Big Mr Reid. He's gonna find out just how much Big Mr Reid enjoys having a player ignoring Big Mr Reid's "requests". Would not surprise me to see Little Mr Reid on the Inactives list this fine week. One way or another, the kid's gonna pay for his rather mindless indiscretions.
|
this is the perfet week to bench this clown
|
A lesson to teach him, on the bench he must go.
|
Lol.
It's in this thread that I posted that I wasn't a fan of this guy, but I've tried to be level-headed about him since he became a Chief, and he's played fairly well for the most part. So far. But this tweet thing is not why KC lost to CIN. Had nothing to do with it. There's a lot of reasons KC lost on Sunday, but pointing at social media posts is just dumb. |
Other than Andy doesnt like it, I dont see why this is a big deal.
Our secondary held up much better than I expected and Reid was fine. Bench him? "Come on man!" |
I have a unique recommendation to not allow this player to play this week. He should remain on the bench unless an injury occurs or the clock expires to end the 4th quarter with one the participating teams having scored more points than the other.
If neither team has more points than the other, he should remain on the bench until a team successfully emerges victorious in the overtime period or the clock expires resulting in a tie. |
Quote:
the problem was that turnover never came. even so, the defensive scheme was good enough to give us a 4-point lead and the ball. and our offense then ****ing choked. i think the chiefs had a solid gameplan, they just didn't execute the last 10% of it. |
Quote:
A really smart way to play it too. The sacks or turnovers never materialized but the scheme and secondary were good. We all knew or should have, that holding Bengals under 30 and scoring at least 30 was the way to win this game. Secondary did their part with mostly rookies and Yes, Justin Reid doing his part. |

Andy Reid is a fair but very tough coach. His comments alone tell you Justin Reid shouldn’t have said anything the second time. Right now he’s disrespecting coach and he knows better than that |

Justin Reid has played exceedingly well the last month and a half.

Yea, he's been fantastic.
|
He’s really turned it on. Both of our safeties seem to be playing their best football of the season right now.
|
The light definitely turned on for him after his whole trash talking issue.
|
He was pretty pish earlier in the season, but yeah, had a massive improvement down the stretch. To a lesser extent Thornhill's been the same.
|
Not watching HB, Dirty Dan, and Nieman chuckle**** all season has been a real treat.
|
Feel like he came on down the stretch. Maybe it’s more familiarity with the scheme, more cohesiveness developing in the unit over time, getting 21 back… probably a little of everything. We are definitely way ahead at that position now vs where we’d be with Mathieu, as much as I liked him when he was playing well for us.
|
I just hope Dallas does not not want him as their kicker.
