Round 1, #29 - WR, Dotson Round 1, #30 - DE, Ojabo Round 2, #50 - S, Pitre Round 2, #64 - CB, Armor-Davis :thumb: |
Gonna shoot my shot: I think our first pick is not an Edge. I think we trade up for a corner first.
Then I think someone like Boye Mafe will be in range for 30. I really think they’ve got a handful of edge rushers but only a few impact corners on their board Edit: brainfart. Corner not receiver first! |

Works for me.

If not Edge I'd love DL Devonte Wyatt with Jones can wreak havoc and penetration.

Man those "falcons made my career" comments he made still piss me off to this day. It wore off a little seeing him celebrate the SB win against the whiners on the sidelines. Tony G will always be a chiefs legend and I am glad he chearleads the team now. |

Marcus Allen finished his career as a Chief and scored his 100th touchdown against the Raiders. Oh yeah Al Davis tried to bury Marcus Allen in the depth chart but couldn't keep him off the field he would play Full Back and block for Bo Jackson. |

Listening to Sirius radio and they just had their rumors up for different teams:
Chargers: really want a WR but also love Drake Jackson. It depends on how the board falls. People really think Drake Jackson could be picked by them. They’ve shown a ton of love for the kid. Also really like Jameson Williams and Chris Olave Broncos: they want a pass rusher or RT first and will trade up to get it. Rumored to love Nick Bonito. Also look out for Luke Goedeke. Raiders: secondary, secondary and more secondary. They need it and think the 3rd and 4th rd will be plentiful there. They’ve had many visits and talks with corners and safeties Chiefs: they want an edge but the question is which one? Boye Mafe is well known but they have spoken to Karlaftis and Drake Jackson who they really like. Corner is going to be a focal point too. They said Veach loves the depth but also the top after the first 3 guys. Mentioned Gordon and Booth as natural fits. Veach is absolutely in the market for another weapon and likes a WR that will be available in early rd 2 and wants to get him. Don’t shoot me I’m just the messenger here. The guy Veach really wants early 2nd rd apparently is…
Spoiler!

FFS, the media's wishing WR Chiefs trade up, because scoring 30+ points the only way the Chiefs can win.
Trading in the 1st round is the only way to do it |

Just draft a god damned WR and Edge in Rd 1 or 2.

Chiefs can give ammo for Phily to move up and Chiefs take Phily 15th spot. I wouldn't trade up if not Edge.

I'd give up #30, #103 and a 3rd next year to move up with New Orleans at #19. Draft Karlaftis and then New Orleans doesn't have to worry about getting sniped by anybody at 30. They can either take a QB at 16 if they feel comfortable...or they can take one at 30.

I’m betting that Veach has 2-3 deals in place in the top 15 with teams that won’t require as much of a premium to move down with KC if a player Veach likes starts to slide. |

Good for him. Less experienced Veach sells the farm for a player he just has to have.

IF that news about Watson being the WR target is true, wonder just how much our RedZone offense struggling at times has to do with our seemingly newfound fascination with big boys like Watson and MVS.
