Back to back lucky wins for Philly thanks to some game-changing turnovers by Mac Jones, Justin Jefferson, and Kirk Cousins. Not exactly the dominating performances we saw from Philly last year.

You know what's crazy? He didn't suck at all. He was pretty freaking good.

Check it:

27/38 (71%)

311 yards

3 TDs

0 INT

8.2yd avg

PRTG=121.7

But his team fumbled the ball 4 times and lost all 4. That's just as Vikings as it gets.

In58men 09-14-2023 09:30 PM

Justin Jefferson is just 24 years old and now has more career receiving yards than any Chicago Bears receiver in the team's history. All 100+ years of it.

wazu 09-14-2023 09:30 PM

Cousins is a top-10 QB. Has been for a long time. People hate on him because among NFL fans, if you aren't top 3 or 4, you are considered to basically suck.

Mecca 09-14-2023 09:30 PM

Man it sucks we didn't get Addison.

Yeah, it does. But what sucks more is throwing good money after bad. If Skyy can't get it done put Rashee in and give it a chance. He had a solid first week.

thanks for that fun fact, that is interesting to know

Two of the fumbles were pretty harmless. But the Cousins fumble at his own 10 yard line was very damaging. The Jefferson fumble on the Philly goal line was very damaging too. 14 point swing on those 2 plays.

Megatron96 09-14-2023 09:35 PM

Cousins is a grinder. He's not special in any way, not physically, not mentally. Except mental toughness. He just keeps grinding away. It took awhile, but he's worked his ass off to be the best version of himself as a QB.

But he's not good enough to overcome the standard Vikings nonsense bad luck that hovers over that organization like a dead whale fart.

Thats solid no doubt, but dudes just don't seem to give 100% for him IMO... they don't seem to believe

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Put it this way: If I told you that those were Mahomes' stats for any game, how much would you bet between say, $1 and $100, the Chiefs won that game? I know I'd put a $100 on it every time.

But with Cousins, you just don't know . . .

If Patrick fumbled at his own 10 yard line and his best receiver fumbled at the opponent’s goal line, I would guess there is a pretty strong chance of losing the game. Margins are too narrow in pro football to gift-wrap a 14 point swing to the other team.

srvy 09-14-2023 09:45 PM

These pre and post-game announcers blow, sorry TG. Andrew Whitworth talks too much hogs the mic and thinks he has something with the hoodies with a sportcoat. Sherman is just a dummy. The Lady is pretty but just sucks off the East and West Coast teams it butters her bread and glazes her face like a donut. Fitzmagic I like but he can't get a word in with Andrew and Richard shitting out stupid from their mouths. Tony is personalityless if that's a word..

He’s talented, but we would’ve been frustrated with him as a first round pick.

He had like 10% of his career rushing production tonight.

Yeah, we're just talking past each other now. Again, what are the chances that you'd have a QB fumble and lose the ball on his own 10, AND a WR for the same team would fumble a ball out the back of the EZ in the same game? Pretty small odds, right?

Then I posed it with Pat in there instead of Kirk. So think about it:

How many times has Pat had to deal with a situation like that? Maybe a handful, right? It just doesn't happen that often is the point.

Unless you're Kirk Cousins. Shit like that happens to him all the freaking time.

We just saw the Chiefs lose a game with a super flukey Pick 6. It's hard to overcome that kind of BS, no matter who the QB is. Gotta play clean football. I sure hope the Chiefs will be able to do it on Sunday. I think they cannot afford major mistakes against a pretty good Jaguars team.

Megatron96 09-14-2023 09:58 PM

Yes!!! It took some flukey shit to lose that game. And Pat didn't even have great numbers. That's my point.

And I agree 100% about JAX. Margin for error is pretty thin. Probably have to play really clean to win.

Megatron96 09-14-2023 10:14 PM

Flores still got a LOT of work to do.

True, but the same is also true for the Jags. They can’t make major mistakes against us and expect to win.

Agreed. It's a thin margin in both directions. I sure hope KC can find a way to play clean football and get the victory.

Yeah, he doesn't seem to have that "it" or luck factor.

Brady had it. Jimmy G based off his lucky wins has it.

Barry talks about it. It is hard to describe but it is there.

And it doesn't help that the Vikings are cursed.

Hoover 09-15-2023 06:02 AM

I problem with Minn has never been the QB, it’s the Defense. And this year their running game is especially poor. I was really impressed with Cousins last night

FloridaMan88 09-15-2023 06:37 AM

Minnesota had like 20 yards rushing and gave up almost 300 yards rushing on defense... Cousins and the passing game was the only reason they were even sort of in the game.

Loved Swift coming out of college. Thought he would be a great fit in KC's offense.

InChiefsHeaven 09-15-2023 07:34 AM

On another note, how the **** can you stop that QB sneak play? I mean, it's good for 2 yards at least every damn time. It seems like the Eagles are the only ones who run it. Gotta believe every O Coordinator in the NFL is studying how to run that, and every D Coordinator in the NFL how to stop it. Yeesh.

If you make millions of dollars and you're getting emotional about what some anonymous accounts are posting on shitbag social media's you should probably stop acting like a princess and get back to the real world...Nobody at the gas station or at the clubs or at the grocery store is engaging in nazi skinhead antics . And for every real bonehead online there's thousands of fake troll accounts generated by eastern europeans suing sentiment analysis and machine learning models.

Make pushing the QB (or RB, whoever) illegal and/or blow the whistle the instant forward progress is stopped.
