They got away with a bunch of that behavior in their snow game against the Dolphins last year. Pretty messed up. Snowballs constantly thrown at Miami players.

I would expect nothing else but this bs from Buffalo fans. That was a barrage of snowballs and it definitely affected the game. For them to turn a blind eye too it today should not happen, but it is Buffalo.

I guess the good part of about the mess in the seating area is that they might be too exhausted after clearing their seats to pelt people with snowballs.

They will pull the same (or worse) next weekend against the Chiefs. I hope the Chiefs front office has the video of the snowball stuff. Show it to Goodell and demand a strict policy. Automatic 15 yard penalty every time they do it.

I went to a Bears game in the late 80's when they were playing Tampa Bay. We sat about 20 rows back from the Tampa bench around the 35 yard line. It had been snowing most of the day, and it was a wet heavy snow - perfect for snowballs. Towards the middle of the 4th Qtr, the fans started pelting the players left and right, absolutely non-stop for about 10 mins straight. Finally, the players starting throwing them back at the fans and that's when they started kicking fans out that wouldn't stop ROFL. I was just a college kid, so I was totally into it, and subsequently escorted out of the stadium with my buddies :D

Yeah, I would guess the 1st snowballs fly in pregame. Maybe dildo shaped ones. With the occasional real one with the Bills logo on it.

"Cold Weather Puts Extra Demands On Our Body
The cold interferes with our body functioning normally because it needs more energy to maintain a normal body temperature. It takes additional energy to keep our muscles functioning and the cold temps can limit blood flow to these extremities. This makes our muscles perform much less effectively.

When this occurs, our normal reaction time is slower, and we become more prone to injury especially playing sports. Our muscles, ligaments, and tendons are at a higher risk of sprains, strains, pulls, and tears."

But I mean who gives a shit about the players. Its manly to sit out side in 30 degree windchill! This place is unreal. People don't want Patrick Mahomes to run a QB sneak but want him to play football in 30 degree wind chill instead. Retractable roof would be gay!

Maybe actually read what that says and then apply it to what you saw from players on the field. Mahomes dropping dimes and rushing 40 yards doesn't indicate limited blood flow, slower reaction times, etc.

I know you're trying to be dumb, but jfc.

The article is referring to the body being cold at the same time. They were plenty warm on the sideline and any extended stoppage.

The cold gear available now makes a massive difference as well.

These are world class athletes. They aren't middle aged softball players for Dr. Floopdeedoo's business he/she is obviously trying to drum up in the two websites you posted links to.

Totally. There’s no excuse. They knew about this storm days ago. Hire a thousand people to come shovel snow for a couple hours - arrive early this morning, pay them in concession stand vouchers. Bills fans would absolutely help. I’d be pissed if I paid hundreds of dollars to trudge through two feet of snow.

I’ve dug up my seat at Arrowhead before. People just kick the snow wherever under their seat, onto other seats, through the crack so it goes under the seat in front of them. You don’t want to be the last people there ROFL

Looks like they will be standing the entire time. It is malpractice for any NFL stadium that is built today to not have a retractable roof. Granted this one was built in 1973 but they tried voting for one and people are too stupid to do the right thing.

Same - but I've never had to do that for 2 feet of snow. That seems a little different vs what we may have had to deal with in KC.

LoneWolf 01-15-2024 02:34 PM

You would have thought with this storm being know about days in advance that they could have covered the stands with some tarps like the Oakland Athletics used to use to cover the upper deck seats that they never could sell tickets to.

Did you actually read the study. Lots of good information in there that basically gives a whole bunch of reasons why the data could be skewed. How many players were injured on Saturday? Was it a lot more than on any other gameday?

Rain Man 01-15-2024 03:05 PM

Have the Bills decided that the weather is good enough for them to go outside today? Or will they try to postpone the game again so they can stay inside with hot chocolate and their coloring books?

Wimpiest team ever.

Since the chiefs are looking strong again they will try to get the rest of the season cancelled.

His mom still dressing him explains why he's always crying on the sidelines

He's a Bill. That explains why he's always crying on the sidelines.
