I always take this with a grain of salt. We haven’t done a whole lot to manipulate the cap by backloading a whole bunch of contracts. A looooootttttt of these teams also have massive escalators for qb contracts in future years whereas Mahomes’ contract is factored in. We have plenty of space if we want it. It’s just a matter of how much you want to backload

I’ve been saying this time and time again. We can’t draft a good LT bc we don’t ****ing pick anywhere near close enough. It’s the 2nd hardest position on the goddamn team to fill.

I haven’t watched Trevor Lawrence all that close this year, but I’d assume Mahomes is better at avoiding sacks. Robinson’s sack number is probably a bit inflated.

Mahomes has started looking a lot more comfortable the last few weeks. I think it’s a bad idea to start all over again with yet another guy at the LT spot. That would be 5 of them in just 3 seasons.

The defensive secondary looked vulnerable against the Raiders without Jaylen Watson. I would like Veach to acquire a good quality defensive back instead of LT right now.

Not sure why that’s a stretch? Wanya’s biggest weakness by far is defending the edge outside. He’s a perfect RG IMO

LMAO Over 1400 yards from scrimmage in both his full seasons played and 12 TDs in 2023. The injury that kept him out of his rookie season doesn't seem to have affected him at all.

I don't think it'll happen, and it really isn't all that necessary. We'll have a pretty complete RB room once Pacheco is back, especially now that Perine seems to have gotten his bearings in the offense a bit more.

I listened to that Denver radio guy from yesterday who said he was hearing Chiefs are about to trade for another defensive player. I mean, he spoke with conviction. Didn't sound excited about the fact, as it was part of a conversation re: Denver not buying so far at the deadline.

Fingers crossed he had a real source. These trades seemingly come out of nowhere, there's hardly any rumors about specifics until it actually happens.
